Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

In this case a guild with a penchant for excessive gore emotes and being unnatural monstrosities. If anyone attended the Everstill Tournament early January, those two big monsters that came attacking when the tournament was done, it were the same guys.

The meme is real about waking up from a nap that leaves you disoriented, more tired than before you slept and frothing with hate.

So the elephant technically clowns them.

Sounds better indeed, the earlier plot improved

The trouble with the module is that act 1 is a mystery surrounding ‘hey why did that city get bodily dragged down into Hell’ and act 2 is intended as a fun romp Mad Maxing your way through Hell and dungeon crawling.

The kind of characters who will have a good time in act 1 will not have a good one in act 2 (my paladin from Eltural isn’t going to find soul-powered constructs especially amusing) and vice versa

One D&D Paladin can now only smite once per turn (including smite spells that are declared like divine smite) but can do it on unarmed and ranged attacks now, I think!

That’s a smart change - no need to have ‘your ranged attacks suck’ be an option when 1 level of cross-class or the clericy fighting style brings it right back!

also archer paladins are cool

For some reason that makes me think of Tristram and has this music play in my mind. (Yes I know this isn’t the actual Tristram theme)

Just a different kind of fun.
They can have some existential crisis as a treat.

Sounds like Blood Bowl 3 on steam is trying to bring back the Bad Old Days of awful GW games; the issues on release are legion, not least of all game-breaking bugs, crashes, and a horribly predatory cash shop, which seems to have eaten all the dev time from the (extended) Beta.

I feel mildly resentful of the fact the way into game-dev closed off for me years ago, when people who are very clearly, objectively, terrible are still there.
Or are run by people who need something to bounce off of their one, singular brain cell… It takes a special kind of Stupid to throw away so much potential.

Ah… I have been transported back in time to when I pulled my first ever all-nighter and realised the power of video game…

Pet peeve: Levelled an Evoker a little. Still annoyed at the whole transmog situation on that race. :frowning: It puts me off the class so much and it’s got such a fun kit. Boooooo.

Speaking of DnD, I’ve been enjoying prepping to run Dragon of Icespire Peak as a first-time DM a lot more than I initially thought I would. 40 maps with animations and lighting down and I only need to prep the Character-related stories and maps now.

A good, easy to follow adventure that I’d recommend for anyone else who wants a crack at newbie DMing.

A Peeve: Why does WOTC write their modules end-to-beginning though. . .having the high level ending stuff at the start is just counter-intuitive

Darktide still sucks.

Witch stuff is correct.

Am I the only one bothered by this name?

I smell like paint. :I

You wouldn’t catch me doing something as tacky as object RP

Man, you have no IDEA how disappointed I was with the game.

I was riding the hype train for some solid 2 weeks before the actual launch and when it came - literally nothing changed.
