Truly a charmed life.
This is a post to make fun rather than complain.
Elon makes twitter ticks purchasable for $8/month. Muddling the verified tick vs. bought tick causes DRAMA (see: Insulin).
So then he sets up a whole set of different colours and whatnot for it so you can see whoās verified as a company vs. which loser paid money for it.
The response to this is a lot of people cyberbullying people who paid for twitter. Good times are had.
To combat people making fun of his paying customer base, then announce they you can hide your blue tick, meaning you paid forā¦I guess nothing, really? Bargain!
Ah, but then heās now announced that the āFor Youā tab will only have people who have paid show up there, meaning that even if you hide your blue tickā¦everyone still knows, and everyone will still bully and/or block you.
Also only paid people will be able to vote in twitter polls, which means that he is still absolutely seething about people saying he should stop being CEO via twitter poll.
Dude is just terrible at running this website. Embarassing.
Capitalism working as intended producing its inevitable end result of an autocratic twit thinking heās a genius for failing upward and a gaggle of power worshipers gutting their precious piggybanks to signal and emulate for the mere sense of belonging and prestige, left with nothing but dust.
damn- that hits deep
Elongated Muskrat should go to space.
And stay there
Ideally on a Tesla spaceship, if Tesla cars are anything to believe!
Back to drinking more I guess.
Imagine spending $44 billion on a website you got bullied on for free in the first place
Oh but you see itās a flex of wealth and power to buy the site and run it into the ground because you got bullied.
Can we send Bezos along in one of his -shaped rockets?
I want the new Crash team game thing.
Any good anime or manga recommendations for me today, Pet Peeves?
New Game! is a fun slice-of-life anime featuring a studio of useless lesbians who are making a video game
one of them has a pet hedgehog
Is it going to queerbait me like Lycoris Recoil did
Thereās not really a romance between anyone, but the vibes are impeccably gay
So, yes, itās going to queerbait me. Next suggestion please >:(
Otomeyagatari/A Brideās Story is a āhistoricalā manga about families (brides, mostly) in the middle-asian steppes. Ongoing.
Apothecary Diaries is a manga and soon an anime (with Aoi Yuuki in the leading role lets gooo) set in fake-Forbidden City of China starring a young apothecary girl who finds herself drawn into palace intrigue against her will. Ongoing.
Goodbye Eri is a wonderful and moving one-shot manga about coping with loss. Itās great. Complete.
Ani no Yome to Kurash1teimasu/Living with My Brotherās Wife is a bittersweet slice of life story manga about a teenager and her elder brotherās widow dealing with the loss of the elder brother.
Princess Principal I talked about recently: Anime apy intrigue around a Berlin Wall-setting in steampunk victorian london where the spies are schoolgirls. One completed season and two out of five(!) planned movies/OVAs currently out.
Ao no Hako/Blue Box is a romance/sports manga which somehow has not got an anime adaptation yet, wild. Ongoing.
Witch Hat Atelier is a gorgeously drawn story about a bunch of young girls learning to be witches.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury. Do it for Suletta and Aerial.
Canāt say that conceptually appeals to me.
Intriguing, possible bedtime reading option.
Points to the āNO GUNDAMā sign.
Enemy in BF 1 on a Horse: āI guess Iāll just ride back and forth through this hail of bullets, coming back around with full HP and wracking up an obscene kill count because my enemies cannot focus fire worth a damn!ā
Me, on a horse; -Gets One-shot from down the road with an AT rifle less than 5 secs after spawning-
Fine, fine, I just wonāt play games today. Iāll just sit here and feel frustrated and resentful and unable to do anything to wind down, because sure ok why the heck not huh?!

Further recs, because I do the opposite of gatekeeping and you WILL listen to things I like:
Sentai Daishikkaku / Go! Go! Loser Ranger! : A manga with the concept of super sentai/power rangers where theyāre real, but they already won. Now they keep doing fake monster battles every week for ratings, except one of the āinvadersā decides to rebel and starts hunting down the rangers to try to kill them. If you have ever had any affection for sentai stuff, itās probably your cup of tea. And if you havenāt you should read it anyway, idc.
Dungeon Meshi / Delicious in Dungeon: Ongoing manga with an upcoming anime by Trigger. Party descends into a dungeon and eats monsters on the way.
Mieruko-Chan / The Girl Who Can See Them - Horror story about a girl who can see monstrous spirits, and dealing with the fact that she canāt let them know she can see them. Ongoing manga with a one season anime so far.
Made in Abyss - I bounced off the anime but found the manga easier to get into. Adventure anime of discovery and wonder into a magical abyss.
Kase-san / Yamada to Kase-san - slice of life yuri series starting in school and currently in university. One OVA. No queerbaiting here, theyāre dating.
Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san / Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House - slice of life/cooking series about life inside a geisha house of kyoto, focusing on their live-in cook (a failed maiko) and her best friend (a successful one). Has a 12 episode anime but with 21 volumes so far (latest is January of this year), the animeās not really going to cover it.
Golden Kamui - Recommended this before, still good, still rocks. At least 4 seasons of anime and a completed manga.
Also Railgun is still good, at least if you excise most Touma scenes. Manga series is currently in flashback mode focusing on Tokiwadai and Iām enjoying it even though Misakaās taking a mostly back-seat.
Macross Delta
Wandering Witch - the Journey of Elaina, is an anime of mostly one-shot episodes about a wandering witch (elaina) on a journey.
If youāve not watched Lycories Recoil yet, one of the best new anime to come out of last year.
Also Symphogear good. 5 seasons, and supposedly new stuff on the horizon.
