Absolutely unrelated pet peeve that I’ve come across my YouTube feed just recently:
D&D humor channels that base their entire content and humor on mocking players and DMs for doing absolutely anything, vid after vid, on a daily basis, for years. Seriously.
A sketch where people are jerks for playing a certain class, a sketch where people are morons for making their characters have flavourful unoptimised abilities, a sketch where people are idiots for making their characters have powerful abilities, a sketch where people are dumb for getting too into their character, a sketch where people are stupid for being more gameplay focused so they get less into their character during the sessions…
My man, do you actually like playing D&D and are making jokes about it, or are you just reading things off the Player’s Handbook and listing them off in a mocking Spongebob voice to make bank out of roleplayers and DMs with self-loathing problems?

Went to see Mario, and very glad I did. It was a lot of fun, I felt myself grinning pretty much the whole way through, and I didn’t even mind Chris Pratt as the VA! That’s an achievement all around, I say

They’re fun, I think! Better than SWSH. Open world is fun. Endgame is lacking, but hopefully with the DLC something will come up for it.

Yeah… in other news, I am trying to complete every mission on gold now. Managed to get chapters 1,2 and 5 done ( im on chapter 6 now, just got to Beaver Hollow), but there’s a mission in chapter 3 where I have to fistfight a dude without getting hit. The New South it’s called, where you chase some guys on a train… and it is just impossible… I just can’t do it
I don’t think you need all of them for the achievement. There is a list online of which to go for. Some of them are just unreasonably difficult.
Ah, I know you dont need them all on gold for the achievement, you dont need missions on gold at all for the 100% complete achieve. I just decided to do it for fun… and just when I typed my comment before that… I finally managed the damn mission…

It’s extremely likely that they’re just snatching high-engagement stories from Reddit and other popular forums for discussing D&D, then paraphrasing them on their Youtube channels. There’s a good chance that no, they don’t play tabletop games and maybe never have.
At this point, there must be an entire industry built around scraping the internet for amusing anecdotes, reading them out loud (or in the laziest cases, running them through text-to-speech programs) and making easy money.
