I was also considering Redguard.
But I’m not sure, perhaps a mer shall spawn.
Come to the Dunmer side
Only card game worth playing is Top Trumps: Dinosaurs

I had a dream that was all about being aware that I was in a dream and had to sort my stuff out before going to work. “Work starts soon, get ready.” And the magic of my imagination has me stuffing a backpack with empty tupperware, doing work things until I wake up and have to go to work.
Rest is a lie, peace an illusion.
He’s looking at actiblizzard being the first to launch a fully AI generated game that grows itself up to a point, needing minimal upkeep and staff while forcing the player to feed the beast money to progress.
Something I noticed today: Evoker is the first class name that begins with a vowel, meaning that while previously you could have the text refer to “a [class]” without issue. Now doing so is grammatically inccorect, since it should be “an evoker”.
I don’t know if it’s universal, but I did spot at least some dialogue where they did not account for this, and they probably won’t outside of class specific quests.
Distantp is dissolving, we knew him well

Not sure if there’s an actual conclusion to this but from playing both games extensively now it seems like WoW classes are more unique than FF14 DoW/DoH jobs in terms of ability design, especially with the latter having gameplay structured around 60/120 timings, it makes everything very homogenous, even moreso than WoW.
Just something I have picked up on. Still enjoying FF14 atm but its one of a few little niggles I’ve had compared to WoW
WoW classes have more variety in the sense that each class has a multiple specialisations, but I also find that individually the XIV jobs have a lot more to them. Even summoner has more complexity than most WoW classes.
I still miss City of Heroes’ method of doing things;
- Pick an Archtype (e.g. Scrapper - Melee DPS)
- Pick a Primary Powerset (e.g. Fire melee)
- Pick a Secondary Set (e.g. Invulnerability)
You can then pick powers from those pools as you level, as they unlock and when you choose. You could also add Enhancement slots to those powers, which you could add things like more accuracy, reduced endurance cost, increased range etc depending on the power. You also got Ancillary pools, which anyone could pick from (Travel powers, stealth, medicine etc) and Epic pools, which unlocked at higher level based on Archtype.
You could have two characters with the exact same Powerset Pools, yet radically different builds. It was great
Me RN trying to empty 10 years of accumulated crap in my bags on Cro.

EDIT: I refuse to touch her bank.
Or the guild bank! Screw both of those!
