Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

The grittier tone had me tempted to make this my first ever Diablo purchase, but it’s a bit too rich for my blood. I’ll keep an eye out for discounts in a few months or so!

Also I have a very real suspicion that if I wanted to get the most out of the game, I might need to upgrade my relic of a PC a little.

The tone is definitely a return to form of 1 and 2, if not a leap further. As someone who didn’t outright hate the style of 3, 4th I think fits more. On a discount it is an easy recommendation, even if you have no prior attachments to the franchise.

I have a gtx 3060, but a rather old by now i7 processor and the game stays consistently at 60 fps with everything maxed out + high res textures. Depending on how old your parts are, you may be able to run it reliably on lower settings.

My GPU isn’t as flashy as yours (a gtx 1660), but I suppose that might be sufficient for a lower setting on the graphics side of things. I run most middle range games well enough, so I’m cautiously optimistic that I might not have to blow a small fortune on new hardware.

I have a relatively old hardware and didn’t really encounter any problems during the beta (though I may have ascribed weird loading stuttering to network stuff when moving to open-world areas or whatever that forced you to play with random players).

That being said, I’m also waiting for a larger discount, the game doesn’t scream even 60 dollars to me. 40 is like max I’d want to pay for it. I’ll forever not understand the critiques Diablo 3 got and why Diablo 4 is fine.

Diablo 4 story done, pretty damn good.

You fell… bye.

Not nearly as bad as leaving him for 9 hours, he’s practically glued to my leg now.

Hermes rat seems to have peacefully passed.
I assumed he was just splooting, but unfortunately not.

Sorry to hear about your loss :frowning:

Dandadan anime adaptation announced

People consistently underestimate my age (guessing anywhere from 18 to 30 when I’m actually 36) and at this point I don’t know whether to feel flattered or concerned.

I assumed you’d be about same age as my brother, that being 31 in August

It’s the time again.

Yes…

Suletta Sunday…

Summary

Petra not dead! GUND LEGS INCOMING! I thought the people suggesting it were mad, but now…now it’s viable.

Suletta tells the truth about Aerial and herself, the replichildren. God she’s matured so much.

CALIBARN GUNDAM!? SULETTA NEW MACHINE THIS LATE IN THE SERIES!? WHAAAAA

The first deployment of Quiet Zero is suitably hellish. An absolute power that no one can fight against. Big Damocles Code Geass vibes.

No one except…Suletta, the ray of hope, while Miorine is lost in despair.

I guess Lauda is going to pilot the Schwarzette after all?? Though we could still get jebaited. It’s been like the fourth bait we’ve seen so far for it lol. Hilarious that he blames Miorine though. It does mean that Petra is going to be able to say Miorine’s GUND legs ‘saved’ her.

I wonder if this means the mini-boss before Quiet Zero/Eri is going to be Calibarn-Suletta vs. Schwarzette-Lauda?

This was definitely a ‘slower’ episode after the drama of the last two, to build back up to the endgame.

Rats will never be our forever, but we are there’s.
They live a much better life with humans than they would elsewhere.
