Then start with Racemenu as this is pretty much essential if you want to have higher degree of control over your customizations. CBBE is a body replacer that, if memory serves, comes with better skin textures. There is also skyrim better males, see whichever fits your requirements more. Both of them have sfw and nsfw options, I believe.
For faces I recommend just browsing through nexus top downloads in respective categories and see what you like, but mods like Brows, Beards, Seductive lips and Skin feature overlay are good starting points if you want to assemble something.
Needless to say, you download whatever the mods require or recommend. I haven’t touched skyrim in a long time, so maybe there are some new mods too.

Wanting to do draenei stuff but their lore is over. Best to just retire the character(s) to the farm where all the others go when their lore isn’t updated anymore. Bon voyage, bleaters.
They’re getting new stuff with the manari skintones apparently. Something to do with velen’s vision.
Plus their heritage armour is still outstanding, so there’s that as an eventual upcoming loredump too.
But can I ever take them seriously again?

Imagine that:
You ask of your people to consider “working together” with their fallen brethren turn demons and hunting them for 13.000 years. Wherever the Draenei settled (Draenor wasnt the only world where they attempted to settle) their fallen brethren found and hunted them once again.
The light and your community has been the only thing that kept you union and a push to keep on going despite the many failures while your culture is slowly declining further and further and your people wither out due to extremely low reproduction rates.
And then, after you crashlanded on Azeroth, found community and aid with the Alliance and even returned to Argus (More because Illidan literally forced that upon the leaders of the world) your leader asks of you to reconsider your stance against those who only brought destruction and death to your and countless other people?
That is, in all honesty, complete insanity. And one more proof to say that Velen is obviously in an delirium or suffers dementia. Would I be Draenei I would be deeply offended by what the prophet brings forth as “prophecy”. Because its basically like “Now, after you ended the leadership of your worst enemy please forgive your enemy for their crimes and sins. They may have ended your entire family and caused you to suffer greatly, but hey, they were never in charge of their own actions so they are basically still the good guys and were ‘mindcontrolled’ or whatever”.

Peeved about the fact that I can feel my summer depression approaching. I’m already making an effort to eat better and move more and do fun things but this thing is like a perpetual dark cloud, stubbornly raining on my heels.

I don’t use them out of principle. I want everyone, literally everyone, to see my character’s appearance the same way, including newcomers and people who don’t use any third-party tools out of principle, for TOS reasons or whatnot.
Besides, while I’m all for plugins that enhance the game’s clunky UI (and I’ve written two RP Dalamud plugins myself), changing the actual world models (for some people but not others) is where I draw the line.
