Well, that’s how it’s supposed to work, so at least they fixed it. Also a shame, was hoping to make Gale blow up everyone else too.

…That’s a half-elf? Not really seeing the elf part, though I assume he has pointy ears under that hair.

The actual Elves don’t really look much different either, with perhaps slightly more elven facial features but you can still say ‘human’ if you cover the ears up.
I guess that’s the Half-Elf part, you’re just human with pointy ears and a longer lifespan.

lolthsworn drow warlock (fiend patron)
warlock is a fun class, fiend is always good, and drow and lolthsworn in particular get a lot of dialogue lines from NPCs associated with them (i can also state absolutely psychotic things very casually, as a special little treat)

I actually started again as a half orc druid just to try something different from my 5E campaign.
im just the ‘yeah i pick human male warrior in every fantasy setting’ but with male elf druids
oh your fantasy setting has like, 4 other really interesting unique races? don’t care, im playing the elf.

see, i’m actually really varied
sometimes i pick the designated metal album cover race, sometimes i pick the siouxsie and the banshees race
i have yet to buy BG3, but I will most likely.
My issue with it that all the races are omega boring/don’t speak to me at all.
I think the dwarf or human are the only ones I feel like trying. Dracthyr have ruined the Dragonborn for me, all the elves (as usual) suck, and i have no interest in playing the draenei but red race or half orc etc.
I want to play a gremlin despoiler race like a goblin, but the closest alternative, gnome, is actually just a short elf.
