Pet peeves: The return (Part 4)

Still only managed to wangle 30 minutes on it. Got to the helm of the ship thing and it crashed to desktop.

I will always seize a moment to whip out the official artwork of dwarves being invited to bathe in the Darnassus moonwell.

I rly liked the chubacabra of Astranaar.

nooo they would have been torn apart to the last atom by 50 archdruids and ancients for even having a single glance at the moonwell noooooo

Reminds me of the people saying vindicaar could vaporize orgrimmar with space lasers

I put my LARP elven dress into a washing machine. That was a mistake, thought not a fatal one.

It didn’t get damaged or anything, but it got tied into tight knots by its wide sleeves, with the knots enveloped in its translucent outer layer for good measure.

I’m untangling it by hand, and I hope to never have to do so again.

but you see it blew up a heap of rocks this one time c’mon

This is my favorite thing to bring up as well.

Moonwells are there to be used, not to be stared at from a twenty meter distance!

Went spelunking in a cavern beneath the village, found a giant phase spider that absolutely mopped the floor with me.

Oh well, guess I’ll play some Baldurs Gate 3 now.

Your first mistake was cave diving, under any circumstance.

having a huge skill issue*

On to Act 3 we go, then.

Act 2 was definitely shorter than Act 1, right?

BG3 crashing to desktop meant I got thrown back to act 1 (seems to happen semi-frequently don’t love that) but that did mean I got to mow down the forge boss in what is apparently meant to be an unconventional way because I got an achievement for it

It turns out Lae’zel just beating the snot out of it with a hammer will do the trick

I actually think they were around the same total length for me on my save file. Felt like around 18-20 hours each, though I perhaps made it through act 1 faster due to being familiar with most of its content from early access.

My peeve: I’m not getting the achievement for petting the owlbear cub and Scratch at the same time. I got the cutscene at long rest and all, but apparently it doesn’t work if you have Speak with Animals active or something.

Best character.

Except when it’s the unspeakable things that happened in the Duskwood moonwell :stuck_out_tongue:

Like ERPers haven’t gone into other ones when the quiet nights set in.

True, probably no moonwell was safe from them.
