An excellent time to level up those alts! 60-70 takes about one evening of timewalk spamming as DPS. Tanks and healers speed things up significantly.

I still think the 87 MSQ quest “Thou Must Live Die and Know” has the single handedly rawest god damn cutscene.
But overall ShB is the better expac, 5.3 is still a patch I cannot replay or watch without bawling.

Also I suffer I have to finish my PVP grind and grind 380 more mogtomes before patch to buy what I want… At least Erich bullying squads are quick

I know that there’s a certain disconnect between gameplay and story but the way I play V as bunnyhopping around the city on double jump legs and then arm cannoning anything that has a grey circle on my minimap must be terrifying for literally everyone in the city. At any time, in any place, you could just explode. More than once I’ve just annihilated people having a chill barbecue or hanging on the beach solely because the almighty minimap deemed them legitimate targets for extermination.

Exactly, if Danuser wrote WC3 and WoW he’d have had the Orcs be repentant and characterized by trying to get back in touch with their old shamanistic ways. He’d have probably written a quest where he sends the players into the Dark Iron capital to try and rescue Moira in order to foster good relations with the Alliance.

Phew. Good thing that never happened.

If you told me in 2011 that people would unironically be cheering for Metzen’s return, I’d have called you mad. The loathing was immense.

Kind of surprised everyone’s saying he’ll bring back bloodthirsty Orcs as if Warcraft wasn’t like the first franchise in WC3 to characterize them as a troubled people trying to find their future rather than a wholly evil cabal.

It’s a PR stunt but I’m wondering how the Metzenpill will shift the perception of the rest of this expansion.

I feel like Cyberpunk is easier in 2.0, in a lot of ways. I’m playing just a standard runner and gunner this time around with some stealth built in and I’ve had no issues just walking into a gig and obliterating entire rooms.

I could turn up the difficulty for that though so that’s fine. Weirdly though I’m also drowning in money a lot more than I was when I played through a few months ago, I was able to afford the Corpo Apartment really really quickly because you’re getting close to 10k a gig. I feel like the economy needs scaling back a bit otherwise those eds are going to be just useless very quickly.

Haven’t tried any Phantom Liberty yet, still working my way up to the point where that story starts which may take a while because I’m doing side stuff. It’s quite refreshing bouncing between this and BG3 though.

There’s some scaling issues yeah
That said I was happy I brought Rebecca’s shotgun to the fights before and after Netwatch (I may have been a little thin on levels)

Also leveling up seems to be really quick too comparatively. I do like that level scaling is a thing now though, because it means you can get the cool car from the trailers basically as soon as you finish the heist.
