Wake up and meet the wife Susan. My little princess, isn’t she beautiful. Time to take George to Football. Rev up the Bughatti yeee. Quick stop at Toby’s and load up that plate. Get a pint. Pitch looking lovely today lads. Just a bit of banter. Chippy makes a 38-0 loss better. Pop down local pride, good old pie look at that. Susan made dinner, lovely. Pop down and have a couple pints with the lads

This but unironically. A good steak and ale pie is. 
My favourite thing about being married to an Italian is watching her go from thinking her national dishes are the best in the world without compare, to her asking if we can have pie and mash for dinner.

Pie is generally gross, but I do be liking chicken tikka.

A nice and crispy roastie though, yummers.
I’m not happy with my Sunday roast unless I’ve got both mash and roasties on there.
As a more important aside, they’ve updated the Elder Scrolls mod for CK3’s most recent DLC/patch and it is very good now.
As long as you aren’t one of those strange people who declare potatoes to be bad you’re good in my book
I did encounter some really bad mash here and there
