Oh crap it’s the creationist second law of thermodynamics argument risen from the grave, howling its incoherence at the moon.

Maybe because it was intentionally lab-grown and honed to infect people.

I watched the reveal trailer, was pretty good. FF14’s ‘hear…feel…think…’ bit is a good one to steal

Abyssal made this post

Just defeated the Dweller of Woe in Sea of Stars.

Garl is just the best dude. The one and only unproblematic fave.
Also Seraï is just like…extremely cool? 100% edge with their character design but turns out a ninja that can cut dimensional holes with their daggers is a winning formula.

So one of my friend’s is a Vtuber on twitch and over the last month I have drawn 2 outfits for her.

I did the xeno queen for Halloween and I’ve just finished a yuna one.

I also have Blackest Magick put to Practice forever seared into my brain because it is the song I’ve had on repeat for drawing both outfits.

Also no, I do not care about your opinions on Cradle of Filth, shove off.

cubes :ice_cube:

Fern’s sidestep lives rent free in my head.

Not sure of what the heck you’re doing to your characters but the most I’ve gotten are greenscreened shoulders.

Stop criticising my career choices, Levey.

In hindsight, the creative decisions of Dragonflight make a lot more sense if you assume it was designed with the knowledge it would eventually become the new leveling experience.

The story is self-contained and newcomer-friendly* (all you need to know is that good dragons want to save their long-lost homeland from evil dragons), the tone is optimistic, the world is colorful, nails down the Warcraft aesthetic but with modern production values, and is just pleasant to look at.

And there are perfectly valid story reasons for you to be there as Just An Adventurer, coming there straight from your first adventure in Exile’s Reach, as opposed to a seasoned veteran who has already saved the world multiple times and is now called to save it once again from (certain doom #135).

________
* Imagine the reaction of a new Alliance player who has never played or seen anything Warcraft before and is thrust from Exile’s Reach straight into BfA. “So we’re following this sea… mage… lady… who was exiled from her homeland for some reason? Oh, now I got busted out of jail but she’s nowhere to be found, did the story just forget about her? Who are all these Alliance people on the ship and why are they showing up in a land that hates the Alliance? So I guess I’ll be helping them with their problems to gain their support against the Horde? Why are we at war with the Horde, again? I’m lost.”
