Pet peeves: The return (Part 5)

60-70 is about a level every 2 dungeons so it can be zoomed in an afternoon.

Excellent, I know what to do on main and eventual Evoker that’ll be next

Started playing Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart. Game’s fun!

though the fact that Ratchet’s VA is Tidus von FFX and there’s no attempt made to differentiate the voices means that this is the weirdest blitzball-concussion-induced-dream ever.

yeah that and legion timewalk, forgot about it.

I should level my Evoker. Hrmn.
Kinda want to change their mog/looks at the moment, though. It’s all very… all over red? Needs some variety. It’s frustrated how the Dracthyr mog system works/interacts/doesn’t work.

I’ve been trying to find a new look for my dracthyr for 3 weeks now. I wouldn’t be so mad about how the barbershop armor thing worked if they’d made sure that the armor colors provided actually matched anything in game… Just anything at all…

Sure, you can make decent transmogs if you settle for a very red, very blue or dark/brown/black predictable mog - but I love colors and being quirky cute… :sob: :sob:

Edit: ALSO, because I just raged thinking about it. The tabard clasps? They’re gold. You can’t change it? If you want a tabard you’re either forced to make a golden transmog or mix your metals. :skull:

Supposedly the new BG3 patch in December is going to have ‘real epilogues’ which is pretty hype.

Shame I plan to finish my current run before it drops so I don’t have to worry about mod compatability (and so my brain is free of mindflayer worms for Rogue Trader in a week).

Two rings and the cloak again.

RIP to all the ‘why isn’t Henry Kissinger dead yet’ jokes, as he’s finally in hell where he belongs

I saw enough Americans agree that was the best place for him that I simply have to trust their assessment, knowing naff all about the man.

If even Americans can apparently reach consensus on that, though, guessing he was a Reagan level entity.

Edit: Ok, yeah, Cold War Ghoul. Say hi to Maggie in Hell.

This quote by Anthony Bourdain (RIP) has been doing the rounds again, but I’ll repost it for posterity:-

“Once you’ve been to Cambodia, you’ll never stop wanting to beat Henry Kissinger to death with your bare hands. You will never again be able to open a newspaper and read about that treacherous, prevaricating, murderous scumbag sitting down for a nice chat with Charlie Rose or attending some black-tie affair for a new glossy magazine without choking. Witness what Henry did in Cambodia – the fruits of his genius for statesmanship – and you will never understand why he’s not sitting in the dock at The Hague next to Milošević.”

idk, ‘Holiday in Cambodia’ is a great and evergreen + relevant song and it couldn’t have happened without him so clearly not all bad

Name a crime against humanity from the second half of the 20th century and you have even odds that Henry Kissinger was involved in some way.

On the other hand we wouldn’t have had Dr Henry Killinger on the Venture Bros without him.

luckily i still haven’t finished the game. i still need to polish off act 3, which i was going to do after i finish phantom liberty but i might wait until the patch if it changes the endings

I have a peeve but I’m too grumpy to talk about it.
Just please know that I am very peeved atm. Thank you
How is everyone enjoying the snow?

Mine is infinite dragonflight themed but I am tempted to go with something pink and green and bubbly eventually. But yeah we do need more colours for their armour. Some of the ones we have are just baaad.

It’s too shallow to enjoy properly with just enough of a dusting to create and hide slippery ice patches.

The worst of both worlds.

Well you do live in the UK…
Here it’s a good 5 to 10cm and nice and crunchy
Biggest issue are the wet (now frozen) piles of leaves still hidden under it.
