showed you my pillar plz respond
i guess it didnt happen then
I was a very important Stormwind City Watch bit character tyvm
I hadn’t even read Pratchett when I made Constable Carrot
Adelais I feel like you’ve been typing for ages this better be good
It’s either a Levey essay or ‘poop farts’ and I’m excited either way
my tusks QUIVER in anticipation
I’m expecting a post that can be used as a door stop at this point.
i should be putting washing out on the line, instead i’m sat here waiting for the 20 paragraph adelais post to drop
Im very curious now
Ah, I remember the Watch! They were fun to RP with, though when I first encountered them back in Wrath, I didn’t know they were a Pratchett reference.
I briefly joined them in late WoD, on an alt and with full knowledge of what was being referenced, and had good fun “throwing the book” at rowdy citizens (not literally) and reciting the riot proclamation exactly as written:
The Stormwind City Watch comma in the name of His Royal Majesty the King comma commands all persons comma animals comma automata and other miscellaneous creatures assembled here immediately to disperse themselves comma and peaceably return to their homes slash dwellings slash mud huts square bracket delete as appropriate square bracket comma or to their lawful business comma upon pain of pain and slash or death comma as set out in the Riot Act full stop
But by then the guild was a shadow of its former self.
I don’t have any shaders installed and I’m kind of crap at taking screenshots but lo!
Ald Velothi Harbor House, turned into a Corner Club for my totally not evil Hlaalu/Camonna Tong character, built late into the Morrowind expansion/chapter, together with a pal (who played her husband slash partner in crime pretending she’s far more delicate and nicer than she is for her own sanity, good fun was had)

Amaya Lake House, same character and expansion timeframe, this time it’s just her expensive house purchased with capital earned Most Morally. Gardening’s supposed to be her big ole not-Godfather hobby. I think I’d have made the garden fancier with all the stuff that’s out now, but the interior eats up a lot of item slots. also she has like 30000 cats

The Alinor Townhouse - residence of my overworked Thalmor bureaucrat. The interior hasn’t had any structural changes, but I reworked the garden area to have the balcony lifted up significantly. I crafted most of the interior myself, and I like the interior overall. There’s some large-ish empty spaces, but it’s big manor-y home and Altmer are big people so I think it works. Early-mid Summerset expansion time.

Captain Margaux’s Place - Home-away-from-home mk.1 of my House Dres Dunmer who unfortunately had to temporarily leave Morrowind for Entirely Unfair and Unfounded Reasons (she’s dodging responsibility for doing things she’s not supposed to), starring the star of the show, Yoriss the Cat. Early Elsweyr expansion time, I believe.

Lucky Cat Landing - Home-away-from-home mk.2. She’s rich and moved to a bigger place. Not supposed to be in Elsweyr IC™, I only really used the interior, ever. Late Elsweyr expac! Not fond of the mossy walls it comes with but replacing would take up item slots I used for clutter instead, love the layout though. (also features the star of the show again). the key message of this place is that the woman is vain

on to the less regular homes
Pariah’s Pinnacle - I turned the big Orc mountain palace into a small Dunmeri tomb/crypt hidden in the Velothi Mountains, lost to time… for a personal/character-focused storyline/event thing I never got around to actually doing - the original group of would-be graverobbers did not have a good time, clearly… Very simple build meant to convey a scene that a group of 4 to 8 people could easily move around and adventure in
https://imgur.com/a/1u26Q3w
Hunter’s Glade - I shut off the access to the big werewolf forest entirely. It’s a Morag Tong hideout underneath Mournhold / in the ruins of the old city destroyed by Mehrunes Dagon, now. Never really got to use it in roleplay, but probably one of my favourites. This was somewhere during the Skyrim expansion, I think.

Grand Psijic Manor - sike, it’s a campsite in a cave in Cyrodiil now. Late Skyrim expac, I think. Intended for a Redoran mercenary little RP thing that I never ended up actually running (recurring theme). Really fond of the little shrine I made in one of the tents especially. Worship, o’ faithful!

Domus Phrasticus - Imperial walled home in Craglorn? No, it’s a Wayrest city backalley now, actually. There used to be a doctor’s clinic inside of the custom built home, but it was for a one time event use so I both borrowed parts of it from other builds that I later returned them to, and reused some of the parts of the interior. You probably get the idea though. Every wall and street bit is custom placed and a bit messy - it’s a very quick build, but I think it at least gives an idea of some of the stuff you can do with ESO’s editor

Strident Springs Demesne - once this was an imperial manor/estate. I turned it into a little camp in the ash wastes of Morrowind for an event once. Then I added a hidden passage and it became my Buoyant Armiger’s cave home. She stole it from a vampire she killed, allegedly, if you believe her word for it… Everything here except for the water and what used to be a ‘pier’ of sorts there is custom built (the ‘mist’ over the water is custom, too). I built this during the Morrowind expansion but added parts to it until much later (the garden is Elsweyr time, I think). A copy of every single one of Vivec’s 36 Sermons (including Sermon 37) is in here! There’s also Nixxie the Nix-Hound, who is very mean (his owner will insist otherwise, I think I predicted the American bully dog discourse here)
https://imgur.com/a/uSD2qv1
Sleek Creek House - it’s not a Khajiit home anymore, it’s a little campsite now. Dunno when I built this. There’s a hiding spot behind a tree. I used it for an event once.

There’s a few other homes I built as well but didn’t take screenshots of yet (there’s one or two that I think look nice enough to still show off), I’ve also built and torn down or half torn down a whole bunch of stuff for events and the likes
we’ll call it a promise kept…
I had a nightmarish vision that it was going to be something about Elder Scrolls or Warhammer
hehehehe
imgur doesn’t like my adblocker (it still blocks youtube ads so it gets to stay) so I was mostly sorting out screenshots into albums and pasting those here so I wouldn’t lose the link
someone in my house is using up all the internet so imgur won’t even load the images for me
@akamito stop hogging all your house’s internet
[Those are really impressive builds, I don’t have the patience for housebuilding but I appreciate them]
thank you! They look way better with nice shaders (or in person…) but I’m glad they come across well enough, I hope it compensates for the lack of poop farts
Man this is holding a fire door open look at it.
GORGEOUS. MAGNIFICENT. Holy crap lois these are frickin shweet.
these are really really good, i really like the psijic manor and Strident springs ho boy.
now i need to capture the rest of my works
Thank you!!
ESO made me a cave home enthusiast really
