Want to play Elden Ring, but my characters that are all high level enough/able to access the DLC I haven’t played in so long I don’t remember how, and my newest, mace and greatshield bonk-knight isn’t even through Caria yet, I don’t think? :<

Just beat two (minor) Elden Ring bosses with no damage. It’s not even a skilled build, it’s literally greatshield, the heaviest armour I can get away with, a morning star with cragblade, and smacking things until they stop moving.
Also only level 66. Up against Radahn next, so probably about to get wrecked, but ah well

i am pleased to report that i think i might actually be a gamer for real
i pushed through with elden ring to the point where i think i’m enjoying it and am not afraid of literally anything that moves
i have beaten godrick the grafted who i stumbled upon by accident and am now ready to roam the next very big area.
are soulslikes games actually good after all?

i do think i might have been overlevelled for the castle because i beat margit and godrick both on attempt 2
might be my way to win going forward
in other news, habbo hotel released a classic mode this week and it’s truly blessed me. that stupid online chat room is the origin of my time as a roleplayer, pretending to be a jedi while sat on a green sofa drinking coffee

If they didn’t want you to be a certain level they wouldn’t let you reach that level. Since you can reach it, you can’t be overlevelled. Simple as.

i also used my wolf summon and summoned the npc at the door in both instances
i know some players frown on that, but they could also just get over themselves
