In the Iron Sky 2 movie there’s actually a cult for Steve Jobs, pretty funny. And when they actually meet the man ( Lizardman, cause poking fun at the whole 'We’re ruled by Lizards-conspiracy) naturally it doesn’t end well.
Was this before or after Smaug wrecked the place? Cause if this was before, this has some unfortunate implications about Smaug’s beliefs

SEED Freedom looks like it’s coming to streaming platforms (and therefore quality pirate rips) in around two weeks. Can’t wait, looking forward to watching it again.
Just looked down at my feet and the non-bloated granny foot has got an arthritis flare up on the ball join connecting my big toe.
I long to just shrug off this cursed flesh.

Recently discovered a music AI and suffice to say, I’m glad I got out of the industry while I could.
This stuff is insanely good fuel for musicians wanting to make rough demos, but christ on a bike it’s going to be RIP for songwriters, jingle writers and even some producers.
What a mess.

I find it deeply ironic how SO many musicians/bands hopped on the “Hey, we can just make A.I. (slop) music videos and/or still images now for stuff!” and, within the next breath, get really upset (rightly so, mind you) about A.I. in the music industry.
It’s like… stand WITH artists, you dipsticks, you’re on the same damn side!

I’m still holding out hope that the genAI fad will pass like the cryptocurrency fad once people en masse realize the limitations of the technology and that it won’t bring heaven on earth. It’s a cool toy, but it can’t be used for anything that demands genuine creativity or reliability (i.e. I wouldn’t let ChatGPT generated code anywhere near production, and I’ve repeatedly caught it on outright making stuff up about the real world).
It will hardly be the first tech fad to come and go.

The sheer level at which AI has infested the RP hobby is, frankly, criminal for how small and interconnected this little MMO hobby actually is. It became so normalised so quickly that I just exhale a sigh watching people give me AI-pasted TRPs, descriptions and art now and note to avoid them.

i am friends with a fair number of artists and have the utmost respect for all manners of them and creatives in general. it feels like a betrayl of that friendship to ever consider its usage in a hobby like RP and these people are just making an already insular community all the moreso. It’s not even just WoW, this one I saw was in an ESO rp discord. i’ve had friends saying theyve seen similar in gw2 rp. it just sucks so much with the effort people actually try to put in to these pursuits and hobbies.

Ofc it is, thats the whole point of interacting with others and character growth.
these people usually have the same response and it tends to boil down to the reason we have AI slop art. laziness. why think for your character when an ai can do it instead.
