that’s highly unfortunate.
not afraid of someone who can’t spell challenge correctly
the worst thing you did in all of this was to challange us…
Incas, because there was a time in AoE2:HD where I didn’t have the expacs and they simply had a rotation of DLC civs for free players with the game, I got Incas in some lobby. I ended up with two weak teammates (honestly, we were all weak) and I managed to put up a good fight 1v3 because of Incas having an answer to pretty much everything.
Ever since then I’ve been rooting for whoever picks Incas and been really happy when I get them myself. And when they recently got the new food-discount on units, the civ also became strong in general. I’ve been an Incas truther from the start, I knew it’d pay off.
Can’t believe you’re the ‘I think DE needs an Italians civ split instead of a DLC in Africa/Asia/Americas’ player
See also: Bl*ire Wh*te in that sort-of-infamous debate/discussion she had with other right-wingers, where her identity simply got denied repeatedly and was told to grow a beard and stop being trans. It was so depressing to watch even if I hold no sympathy for her.
You don’t even have to be trans, there are stories of simply butch cis women also being similarly accosted - if not worse, assaulted - just because they might not immediately pass as feminine enough. Life gave you small breasts and/or you have short hair? Too bad, get punched by cis men because you’re suspected to be a trans person.
i’m so proud of this community, i was so ready to point it out and everyone else already did
My post calling TERFs fascist has been reported and removed.
Lol. Lmao.
I don’t really care for American or Asian history, and the parts of African history of the general time period I’m interested in are already in-game (Ethiopians, Berbers)
Anyways,
- Rebrand current Italians into Genoese
- Add Venetians (navy, light cav, maybe even militia-line)
- Add Papal States (infantry focus)
Sardinia is mostly covered by the Sicilians already I feel
Wildcard:
- Add Bavarians
Zeg makker…
yo we about to throw hands
I am going to ram him with the maggot cheese. (i’m a sard)
you can’t reach me, im on a boat (i always side with merchant republics)
The Russian word is sredny rod (literally “middle gender”) and the English word is “neuter”. German has it too. And in Russian it’s only used for objects, not people.
(But you probably know this)
That’s what I’ve been hearing aswell.
At first I used to belong to the camp of “Lmao, look at this numbnut actually thinking he brought peace in our time.”
But as I grew older and learned a little more about him, I think that deep down he knew full well what kind of man Dolf was in the end, and indeed, he gave the UK more time to prepare ( and then the early years of the war were still a close as heck call).
better crawl on our bellies and hope the homophobes and transphobes will accept us some of the ‘good ones’ instead.
i actually hate sicily but i have to stand up for it because of political marriage
feels bad, but i’m about to pelt this fool with arancini (after i’ve eaten my fill)
terfs tho
typical…
my argument is that Sardinia is not a particularly noteworthy player for the general timeframe of AoE2 and the Sicilian civ as it is in game already provides an island-based civilization with Mediterranean roots and architecture that focuses on infantry + fishing + defending a bunch. Both also get absorbed by Spain at around the same time
Age of Empires (and Civilization) have been two franchies that I think have done a great job of introducing lesser-known civilizations to the popular knowledge. I think it’s somewhat egregious that large swathes of African continent are not represented in the game even though they would fit within the AoE2 timeframe and have a good civ design/campaign (at least, according to other people on AoE’s own forums). I just have heavy Europe fatigue, especially after DE’s first two DLCs.
Not really, I immediately forgot most of Russian after school. And it didn’t need to be used towards people to be made fun of, e.g. ‘haha this [object] is intersex lol!!!’ type of cringe teenager humour of the 2010s. Note - I moreso meant how it translated into Estonian (and its relevant translation to back to English), or at least how the translation was understood.
true and very based
Don’t like sardines. So i don’t like sardinia.
Not racist.
Just don’t like em.
