Pet peeves: The return (Part 9)

I never really took to Lae’zel.

But at least I didn’t completely forget her like I did Wyll.

Even with Lae’zel (my boo) I wish the option to explicitly flirt or otherwise express interest was there with some kinda symbol to make it clear. But really it’s a small gripe plus githanki lady pretty.

I blame his haircut honestly.

Some of the hair mods out there that change literally nothing else about his design slap hard.

Wyll is honestly the person who should be main character and his lack of content should be considered a grave sin

Lack of dwarf, gnome and halfling main characters disgusts me.

No please we need at least one more human in the team.

A gay monogamous muscular white man?

Gnome party member with Astarion would’ve been a riot.

They cut the werewolf halfling bard granny before it came to be :pensive:

Instant romance locked in.

Locked out sadly.

I deserve a romanceable Regill Derenge

The nerubian city is giving Suramar vibes. Is this intentional.

Yeah it’s just spider-suramar basically

Objectively worse.

It’s funny, I keep hearing this, but I just don’t pick up the “bustling city” vibe the same way as I did with Suramar. It might be because I fly over the place so often rather than walk the streets?

(Who am I kidding. It’s because elves are superior beings, whereas spiders get the rolled-up Sunday newspaper treatment.)

Yeah idk man if gale doesn’t come off as someone with a well developed physique, then what is the regular body lmao?

Being able to fly over places makes them feel inconsequential and their dangers passing.

I think flying is detrimental to the game, but that genie is long out of the bottle and isn’t going back in. All Blizzard can do now is design zones and quests with flying in mind.

This happens anytime imo flyings introduced to a game really. GW2 is another case of this after they introduced the skyscale. It made ground dangers and navigation an inconsequential triviality.

Wait, you can fly in GW2 now?

I don’t think anyone is suggesting otherwise. He’s still muscular, I was just commenting how strange it was to go back and change it after launch rather than during the early access period.

It’s not a big deal in itself but combined with other aspects of the game it proved disappointing to me. Which is why I am now posting about it here, in a thread related to pet peeves, I suppose. :upside_down_face:
