Honestly, warlocks should get their own version of the Shadow Priest insanity mechanic.
Just named something like “INFINITE POWER!”.
Allows you to summon a Pit Lord, Eredar Lord or some other big bad demon.
But also has a % chance of making it insta kill you and then get loose on the raid.
Basically, I want them to buff ritual doom and also make it kill me instead of someone at random.

Only if it was a opt-in. Warlocks already die in like 6 seconds as it is, they don’t need new ways to die.
They badly need to buff the void walker is what I’m saying really.
Also insanity sucks. I’m so glad DF gave a talent that let you largely opt out of that ‘build insanity void explode’ nonsense.

Oh god yes, absolutely. It is borderline useless. The aggro and threat on the voidwalker feels non-existent and it dies faster than my felhunter does because it has weak health and no actual armor or resistance.
And yeah, warlock survivability is odd atm. In group content like M+ or the raids I do quite well. Fel armor, Dark pact and Sacrificial pact makes me able to flat out ignore certain mechanics.
Solo delving or questing however, warlock feels so weak in terms of survival.
