What I ment is that indeed ph5 is taking to long to come considering we dont have an announcement yet.
If blizzard announced it TOMOROW that would mean 3-4 weeks + the time needed to open the aq gates (because lets be honest prio to that it will be a total lag/crashfest and boring farming to open the gates)
This will mean AQ patch being released like 5+ months after BWL and having an actual raid sometime later too.
To all the people sayign they dont have bis etc…believe me the warriors in your guild might need Onslaught till they reach naxx. Your mellee + tanks might need DFT till NAXX, casters TEAR for a long time and same for healers needed GEM. THats how classic is, when one raid comes out the other doesnt stop to be farmed.
Which brings me to the question.

Agree, content is not being rush at all. On the contrary, content is released at a very slow pace compared to the average play game progress. Blizzard should announce next content soon, people are losing interest.
So people are not allowed to choose what game to play?

Blizzard aren’t worried about nolifers unsubbing, because they know that they’ll be back for whenever a new patch is up.

Mid June and still no announcement for the AQ event, so it looks like the actual release will be in August, too late.
There is some disparity between end-game raiding and everything else. Like leveling, AQ events, pre-Naxx events, new recipes, new events are much more interesting at some point than the raids themselves. Even on private servers top server guild at some point said “screw it” - they cleared Naxx once and that’s the end of them, casual 1-night a week if at all.
Like what’s the fun of doing N/HC Nyalotha on retail now or weekly MC/Ony or even BWL for the nt-time? You or someone still likely needs gear but is it really fun? Better than having scourge invasions, Silithus events or new resources/recipes/rep to pursue?
People coming back from work and want some entertainment or fun and doubt they will pick sitting few hour doing old raids or even new if they will be overly time consuming - some will only want a one-time clear and they are off.
SC II coop, retail M+, Hearthstone Battlegrounds kind of show people want “bite size” content and content that can be done when they want it and not on some arbitrary calendar and hours.
