My main is a 60 human female paladin. Now i really regret that choice and hate myself for not rolling human male i really like their casting animations more and their overall ‘paladin look’. However i played so much time on her (17 days total played) and have pretty much all BiS that i just can’t reroll a new char of the same class. I am kinda obsessive with stuff like that and it bothers me for real. Can there please be character appearance change option with basic stuff like gender, face, hair … would even pay 100 euro for it if it stops me from having to reroll all over again . TY

It wouldnt affect me if you changed appearance but it would affect me if people could. It’s how I recognise people, names are hard.
Edit: On your issue specifically, you just have to learn to like the animations. You think I was born thinking it was cool to have a toenail on my heel? It’s an acquired taste.

I was just focused on leveling and thinking to myself ‘it’s too late to reroll’, when i spent more and more time i began to dislike it more and more. Also it was only at lvl 60 how i really see how much better all the armor looks on male characters

Yeah man, I wish I could change my Nelf warrior to Dwarf. I even started leveling a Dwarf warrior because I wanted to change not only the race but also the name, until I realised how futile this was and stopped at level 12. Well, I knew this is Classic and I couldn’t just demand every sweet change that suits my personal needs, I left that mindset behind in retail.
Well that sucks, I levelled a Shaman all the way to 60 before realising I didnt like the class altogether. So you atleast have that.
You know, i’ve considered rolling an alt a few times and I keep on saying “maybe ill just make another hunter…”
Must have been enjoying auto-attacking those mobs for 3-5 days alot if you managed to overlook animations during that time.
I didn’t overlook it , just didnt bother me that much back then but it does now
This is how the game got destroyed. Kids like this guy asked for things. Please ban this kid as fast as u can

No, but the constant “I want it all, NOW!” people will for sure destroy classic if they get their will.
One word, play retail to have it all and not even have to play the game…
So many are starting alts, just to have fun levelling another way, or different class/faction, yes it takes time, but hey, it`s a game, if you dont like the game you play then why do it?
I never said I agreed with OP with the change now. However, I think appearance/race change will and should come in the future. Changes are needed to keep the playerbase in long term.
Nochanges was a bad concept to begin with. Player mentality has changed drastically over the 15 years and the game should adapt imo (Which is does pretty well so far - with the pvp changes)
Point beeing, they changed the game to please the playerbase exactly like you say, se where that got retail?
I)(ts like a game you dont have to play, “give me everything now” kinda thing.
Not to talk about skilltrees and all the rest of it, its not a game that is even remotely interresting or fun.
This is my subjective perspective of course.
Classic have a lot of frustrating fact, just like in vanilla, but i find that its better then the alternative.
Mages , Shamans and rogues, dont even get me started.
But all classes have their nemesis if you will, and the way to handle it as best as you can, and i like that, i like the challende when a mage for the 1000`th time exploit my deadzone and blast away, or top it of with a 30! sek sheep…
Rogues with their stunnlock for ages, i know.
Now to say this is perfect is wrong, but even this gross example have its pros, you have to use your brain to play, and that together with beeing able to spec differently to handle different scenarios and mobs is making the game so much more immersive, hands down.
I think the whole “Balance” discussion is wrong, but thats a nother story:)
My feeling is that by implementing these small steps is wrong, soon there will be flying and TBC where it all goes down from there.
Why not let the retail playerbase keep it up in shadowlands and leave classic alone?
No, because everyone wants everything all the time and this simple fact is part of the sollution that will lead to the end.

May I ask why you play Classic?
Cos I play the game because of the socializing and core game mechanics. And apperance change is not gonna change that. That is why I don’t care 
I second that, exept the appearence change thing, we both play classic for the same reasons, i just dont like the way blizzard bended over for wishes that totally ruined the game.
One thing leads to another, leads back to retail or quit sadly.
So far I am happy with their changes - except the spell batching and leeway. They know they cannot change the core mechanics cos that will upset the playerbase and they will probably leave. But if they give apperance change they will upset perhabs 2% and make 48% happy, leaving 50% not caring.
All in all I think they are very careful with what is being changed, as they should

Although it is not very likely that those that want character redesigns will get their wish, I wanted to reassure you that your Gurl Pally is totally fine.
Whilst healing, barr glances at the layout for occasional CD, I’m never really looking at my toon. Sometimes one needs to position, but most of the time it’s bars and visual/audio queues.
You can also get away with pink!
