75% warriors is needed so just go warrior anyway
Like expected, ppl are going to play Warriors and Rogues
I wonât be leveling anything there. There is no point in classic fresh when Era servers exist. I donât fancy stepping onto a phased loot tredmill to waste my time with. Grinding out gear that gets replaced in a few weeks when the next phase drops seems rather pointless to me.
To me, fresh is just the TBC waiting room. Even then, I wonât play TBC unless it ends up having Era servers. If I wanted to step on an endless loot treadmill I would just play retail.
I mean, a lot of guilds and pugs wonât invite ret palas, shadow priests, balance druids, elemental shamans, protection palas, ferals or enhancement to raid, even if the raids are a joke, because they will do less DPS than a warrior and they could steal warrior/mage loot.
Went warrior and paladin in 2019, and itâll be warrior and caster dps, probably mage this time.
Shadow priest. I donât have any interest in dungeons and raids, so not being accepted isnât a problem. I did hunter last time, which is ez mode but I donât want too much of a challenge.
Went mage for the 2019 classic.
Will warrior be the only viable tank this time around as well?
no. feral has always been a solid tank spec
Iâm planning to go the feral druid tank, but then again, i donât plan to go seriously in vanilla, only having some fun in the world and small party content before TBC comes out.
Theyâre fine as OT or in dungeons but they have less ways to mitigate dmg than warriors and they generate less threat because they do less dmg.
feral tank can literally mitigate more dmg than warriors on half of the bosses in classic. and are much less likely to be oneshot on bosses like patchwerk.
maul is also the hardest hitting, highest threat generating dmg ability in the game.
pls stop repeating things youâve been told.
IÂŽm thinking about to play Priest or Paladin and canÂŽt choose between them.
Warrior of course
Do I get that right, that according to this poll, shamans and paladins will be most popular class by far? Taking in account the fact that they are faction-locked. Thinking of playing holy paladin, but having to compete for raid spot does not feel good?
youâll never have to compete for a raid spot as a healer. this poll isnât accurate. e.g for every warlock you can expect to see 5 mages, and yet this poll suggests locks are more popular than mages!!!
What makes this poll so wrong? Most of those warlocks will not reach 60?
i cant say for sure why. but yes what you say about warlock is probably true. a lot of people go into warlock thinking itâs op but around level 40 they realize that youâre literally just an immobile mage with very few ways to keep yourself alive.
check the fresh discord and go into the roles tab. this gives a much better picture of class distribution. keep in mind that alot of the people who play paladin/shaman wont necessarily be focusing on raids.
Destruction warlock!
BM Hunter most likely
