Those are the definitions of the terminology itself. One builds up anticipation which directly affects the strength of the feeling of reward itself, while the other doesn’t build up anticipation and therefore turns the reward shallow (emotionally speaking).
I’m not the one who created those definitions, you know?
To paraphrase a post I read on the US forum once: “Psychology doesn’t stop just because it’s in a game.”
Which includes social psychology. Social design is a thing in games.
Seems to be everyone’s favorite ending to when they can’t refute properly. Besides the empty insults, that is. But sure, go ahead.
You used the definitions that suit your agrument best, fine for me I just dont completely agree with the ones you choose.
As for the relevance of the social aspect. I did not say it does not have any relevance. I just said I do not stress it that much in regard of this discussion.
As for the ending. There are more important things in live than the pvp system of a computer game. I just dont have the time for that and if I compare my personal benefit of the discussion (cost and profit) it is nill apart from the amusment of discussion with someone who just seems to study the subject.
Gl anyway.
So I step out at this point, you have to find someone else to entertain you in this.
Lots of people are simply gonna unsubscribe if your game’s PvP is bad, as simple as that. Blizzard has to chose if they’re protecting that 1% of real life losers or keep punishing 99% of their casuals who enjoy pub bg and are familiar to the fair grounds concept. You guys are literaly using your client basis as meat to feed the non-lifers with that retarded unfair match maker.
Blizz should get some inspiration from GGG’s Path of Exile, where they actually smartly fix stuff, improve the game every day accordingly to new RELEVANT necessities. And actually punish jerks like Beware for existing.
Players like Beware want the game to be unfair so they exploit it. (I guess real life losers need a chance to “win”?) Is that what blizz think of their client basis ? Cause thats how they treat them.
Players like Beware dont wanna prove skill, they wanna win matches they cant lose. (I guess their lifes are so sad they’re glad playing some horrid pvp while ruining their real life health)
You guys have a good game but you handle it like its some piece of sh**t you dont really wanna think about. What are you so scared of ? You guys already failed a lot of times, it’s okay, but goddam use those mistakes as steps to make the game better. its simple.
Oh, so youre all in premades for the social experience? Dont be ridiculous. Youre doing it for easy ranking, and it only works till you find pugs to smash. If premades were matched against premades, you and your buddies would go solo in no time.
Thats not how it works. This premade vs pugs isnt oversight. Its intended desing by original wow developers to create pressure on solo players and pushed them into playing as premades becouse thats what any good mmorpg do. Pushing you into groups and interactions with players. They did it with elite quets, dungeons, raids, etc… So stop asking to make game more solo friendly. Just accept fact you play mmorpg game or go play some other game becouse its rather looks like that this game simply isnt for you.
Yes, because no one like you’reself prepared for pvp/honor grind and friendlisted all the pvp players months ahead.
