This is getting out of hand with the price of consumes spending 1k on consumes per raid is kinda insane, price of a mongoose on spineshatter alliance is around 26-28g, let alone the other consumes. you banned gdkp for who know what reason you ban people right left and center for buying gold to buy consumes to raid and yet you leave the bots and the mafia run around freely with no consequences what so ever, you get mass reported by the mafias and bots you get insta ban without a chance to appeal. someone make it make sense please no one will sit there farm 1k gold per week to raid and thats if you can farm with all the bots running around blizzard fix this issue ffs

Buying gold is against the terms. Such people are fueling the issue even more.
Doubtful, both sides are equally banned. Only one side has resources to keep up their illegal business though.
Mass reports can only lead to a squelch which has been reviewed several times by Blizzard. You always can appeal which many do.
I agree you’re not making much sense. But a relevant thread here is also talking about this issue in more detail:
a “squelch” which is basically a brand you get on your account where everyone wants to avoid you because you cant queue LFG or type in any relevant channel. but yeah just appeal it, its gonna get an automated response after another until you get a real review after ~5 buisness days where they lift the mute if its not already gone. I think his outrage makes sense even though he maybe exaggerated a little bit but critiquing the GDKP ban after seeing the current state of consume prices, botters and gold sellers is a very valid point. But atleast Lazy Larry who dinged 60 last night on his Warrior is allowed to roll on DFT because SR is so much more fun for everyone

Hey thanks man! Ive been reading too much Forum ragebait and couldnt just read anymore and just HAD to answer to some of them. So many people who barely(if at all) play anniversary have opinions to share about the economy they arent even a part of and it just makes my blood boil.

U cant prevent people to buy gold and u will never do with gdkp or without but with gdkp that gold who would some people buy would rotate among people who actually dont buy gold and economy would be healthier. But now u have only people who buy gold and dictate ah prices and even if u want to farm for consumables u cant since there is no ores or herbs in open world. So bring gdkp or just increase rate of spawning herbs and ores also increase rate of arcane crystal.
log anniversary and try to go farm herbs or mines you wont even have a chance to click it cuz bots are running around and clicking from under the ground and they still run around and if you anger any of the mafia boosters u get spam reported and auto banned because of sheer quantity of reports. yes gold buying is against TOS but at this point just add game tokens atleast to the game because this economy is out of control

dont feel like wow tokens do much or than inflate prices eaven more, since people who dont want to risk their account dont buy gold. but once there is a legal way to do it then people will just swipe and willing to pay alot more then they pay atm.
also funny thing i noticed on thunderstrike, everytime a bot ban wave went out prices of items went up. then zones are over stacked with players who trying to get in on it, and they all stop bothering cause too many other players there, till the bots jump in again.
as much as i am not a fan of bots, i actualy fear eaven more for the market prices once they disappear.
and yeah blizzard should counter investigate mass reports cause boosting mafia’s and WB selling mafia’s is just insane
It’s ridiculous seeing the same bots day after day leveling and farming the whole zone for resources. They aren’t even hiding and yet I see no bans whatsoever - ZERO - NADA. Everywhere I go to level it’s more bots than actual players.

One way around this would to allow nodes to be gathered by all, as per retail. I spent 3hrs trying to get Thorium the other day. I hit 4 nodes during this time! Destroyed gameplay loop. 
Always avoid fake hyped servers by streamers.
I am playing in classic era, gdkp is allowed, Each 3 week, I join only once world tour GDKP and with the gold earned in 2:30 hours I am able to raid for the next 3 weeks.
why you guys bother playing in fake hyped servers and compete with gold buyers and bots ? I also tested anniversary but quitted after reaching 60 levels and rank 10 around february. At those time, you was required to farm 10 hours / week just to raid MC with flask. That is waste of time and items you got eventually will become useless when TBC released.

I feel you, 450-500g for a raid with barely a chance at a piece of loot isn’t worth my time, not everyone here is an unemployed neckbeard who can farm gold 8-12h/day to buy consumes for naxx hence i stopped raiding and now slowly leveling 3rd toon while waiting for tbc when stupid world buffs will be gone and consumes will be capped to flask/food
It is a bit absurd in earlier phases you could make a decent amount off Righteous Orbs, Arcane Crystals, Mooncloth, Cured Rugged leather etc but since Naxx dropped the prices have more than halved while consumables increased which makes DM East farming not worth it I saw the price of Dreamfoil was as low as 20s per herb yesterday on Spineshatter Horde so any dungeon grind doesn’t feel that rewarding.
It’s also soul destroying knowing you could be earning 600g an hour from boosting Mara but it just so boring.
Why do they not ban bots? Because you play the game anyway and continue paying subs

The community has the power to change all these things by canceling subs, but they do not. Your frustrations are not their priority, as your frustrations have no effect on their bottom line. Don’t like it? Stop paying them for a service you are unhappy with.

People keep blaming bots and mafias, but they also dont seem to understand that they are playing on a mega server with 25k raiders + levelers + non raiders, it’s at least 3x as big as firemaw/gehennas back in 2019. It’s not rocket science for herbs to be super in demand.
If every Classic Era/Anniversary player cancelled sub today, Microsoft wouldn’t even notice the dip among the Retail and Panada shop income. Nothing will change. The game is what it is, play it or leave it.
People would go Turtle, and that would infuriate Blizzard even more

i am sure they are owned by same stokeholders Otherwise, blizzard would sue and make it suffer a LOT.
Blizzard is suing or C&D all popular private servers right now - and the two most popular servers right now are Classic+, which are pulling crazy numbers for a private server, rivaling Blizzard Classic regions, thus their attempts with lawsuits and C&D.
