Not enough to let anyone go free.
it all depends on the fate of the golden boy, doesn’t it
if he goes down too, i’m all for it
if not, there’s a matter of some slight inconsistency
idk i think im just kinda drawing a parallel to the winter soldier arc from MCU? but i haven’t watched/consumed marvel so i wouldn’t know how it goes
especially when these things are hard to draw parallels into real life to, because this isn’t exactly just a mental illness that makes someone a danger to be locked away for life
it sounds like sylvanas currently is of sound mind so idk
however, it is a little bit of lazy storytelling for sylvanas to just be handwaved away as ‘oh she was just always controlled by jailer woobiewoo’ because blizzard is not clever enough to actually have intended the player character to also feel ‘oh zoinks she’s actually evil’ and have the wool pulled over our eyes by playing with the emotions
because blizzard 100% just conjured this up yesterday, not planned it out since wotlk
oh absolutely, for sure, 100%
that’s why it isn’t working and literally no one with half a sense of taste likes it
blizzard said they wanted morally gray characters but didn’t have either thrall/jaina/bolvar just smashing sylvanas’s head in with the big hammers or magic smh
these words have absolutely no relation to one another
Well, tbf Anduin is currently actually being controlled, dominated. At best Sylvanas bought into a story she wanted to believe in. Even with only her “angry” soul she was still capable of logical thinking and active decision making. That being said I would not mourn both of their stories ending in SL (like that will happen lol).
Nah, I wouldn’t say there’s any such distinction at all
Both are seemingly forced to act against their normal by bdsm magic, ripping out someone’s good half and then going ‘look, they’re doing bad things!’ isn’t exactly reasonable as far as fair judgment goes.
But there is a distinct diffirence between the two, Anduin is completly emotionless with no interactions with the world around him except for swinging his Blade.
While Sylvanas interact Constantly with the world around her, shows her doubts and hints of regrets throughout the Shadowlands cinematics even up until her very act of defiance.
And regardless of her soul’s condition prior to Shadowlands, the world has seen, heard and felt her actions, actions that has left many victims to mourn their dead, the last thing they’d consider, is wether her actions really were her own.
From anger and desire for vengance alone, they’d want her dead, Even if she just is a scapegoat.
Factually false since the very purposeful compass drop
Same as sylvanas, he’s still in there
Yeah but when have the masses ever gotten what they want in WoW? Even Elune didn’t let super saiyan whisperwind get her revenge
Remember when Jaina arrived on Kul Tiras and was meant to be executed but became the Lord Admiral of her nation instead? Populations and political bodies are completely irrelevant compared to what the Justice League of Azeroth and its side characters want.
Or when Taurajo got sacked and Baine kicked anyone that had an issue with that out of Mulgore indefinitely
Unless he drops it by accident, like a drone having no care for such trinkets.
Baine Soyhoof
Yes i am sure he unhooked this thing at the most dramatic moment right before stepping through an unknown portal strictly by accident
Sorry bro it’s simply anduin reaching out, no 2 ways around it
Also: i want my helmet back, this is agony
Do you think Blizzard in its current state is capable of that instead of making it a scene that’s meant to spell out what’s happening for the thicker demographic of their customers?
It’s as possible a reason as him purposely dropping it.
Nah, the mcguffin was dropped on accident.
It amuses me how much ‘Copium’ people are chugging, trying to deny this is just a massive retcon a d hamfisted handling all in one.
Oh i dont think anyone here is in denial of it being an utter show, just in denial of how bad a show it truly is
