It leaves a sour taste in my mouth still, what with Elune referring to all the dead as some sort of emergency battery for a place that, for all intents and purposes, did not really exist at the time of the War of Thorns being written.

Let the echoes of doom resound across this wretched world, that all who live may hear them and despair.
We’re missing a whole lot of contextual details and quests to build up and to follow the cinematic and most people just seem to go on visceral dislike. That said, demonstrating Elune as ignorant is humanizing in a way not really fitting a deity or whatever Life Eternal she is in the council of four, five or six yin-yang reflection of the shadowlands that governs Life.
Then again, the invasion of Ardenweald sees the Winter Queen fall for the dumbest obvious bait. Ditzy family, I guess. They’re like the azuna twins, but gods.

Its pissing me off more then it should that Elune is basicly being “degraded” next expansion to a member of Titan council 4.0
With the current death Council being Titans 2.0 and the Eternal ones being Titans 3.0.
Why is everything a council/pantheon now a days? It was cool when it was the Titans and it did sort of fit their vibe…
edit: Pantheon of life will have a Light-Titan, Life-Titan, and probably some new made up magic-types titans :I
I’d sincerely love to say we’re at THE crossroad, this is it. The place where either the game and company actually pulls itself out of the morass… First by fixing up their company culture and ousting the sex pests and incompetent fools among them, then work of presenting us a better product whilst communicating more and accepting the all too prescient warnings of the community.
However at this point… I expect something even worse to get out from there. Something like CP is juuuuust around the corner.

I have given up. I’ll probably sit these 6 months out, but that will be about it.
I have no intention on waiting for a change that will never come. They’ll probably try to fix their reputation and out some of the names mentioned; but I doubt it will be enough to fix their story or the fact they’re so stuck up their own behinds they can’t even come out of it anymore.
Meanwhile, corporate structure is shaped like a capital A. But then, councils are portrayed as inherently flawed and perpetuating broken systems. Curious, that’s all I’m saying.
Especially with the narrative’s fixation with benevolent autocrats as a positive but also worshipful of individual Free Will.
We still don’t know what domination magic is.
Oh brother, my sub died a while ago. I don’t intend on returning until next expansion and even then I have some reservations… This time not because of how I mostly expect it to follow the streak of mediocrity we’ve been going through but simply not wanting to support until there’s huge and substantial changes in the game and the IP’s direction.

We do, actually. Some person on Twitter is covering an early access Grimoire of the Shadowlands. In it they mention the Primus invented it to bind Zovaal to the Maw and that Zovaal’s tattoos are the sentence of the Eternal ones. The Primus put it on him, too. All I want to say is that the Primus rocks.
So all the classic Death runes seen with scourge architecture, runeblade weaponry and other things up to and including what’s been branded into Bolvar’s skin since his crowning just reads “Zovaal is a very naughty boy”.
The Goontanamo Bay prison facilities were a necessity in the fight against the Pandaren, sorry

Yeah the same book says the rune magic of the Death Knights is the same magic the Primus uses. I’m paraphrasing heavily here.
