So Death Magic is Rune Magic is Domination Magic. Next they’ll say Fel is just Arcane in its rawest form. Eheh…
Everything from Warlords onwards is a fever dream.
I don’t think the book said DK runes = domination magic, but more that it originates from Maldraxxus?
true+big brained
Gunna one up that and say after TFT; wow was a mistake.
I mean, wasn’t it Vrykul Runes that made up the Runes upon a Death Knights blade?
Does that mean that Vrykul’s knew more about the magic binding Zovaal then Zovaal and his pet LK’s did? And how come Denathrius and his Dreadlord pets knew how to get the LK armor/Mourneblade out of the Maw, but nothing or anyone else?
Unless Zovaal taught them how to create it, but then why didn’t they ever use it before?
I don’t understand jack poo of it anymore
everything from the start of warcraft 1 is a fever dream
Running the risk of being dragged to a padded cell, I really liked Legion. Like I genuinely thought that a lot of the game’s aspects went into a cohesive whole. Perfect? No. But definitely a splendid time.
That time blackhand’s daughter ran off to the deadmines with her ogre boyfriend or something…
Well no. We already know the Primus forged those.
I really disliked how the order halls were handled, it homogenised and damaged class-race identities a lot more than Cataclysm did with generic quests (rip sunwalkers). The uncrowned were awful, probably the worst idea going for order halls. Never been a fan of allied races either, should have added nightborne and broken as actual races and began implimented sub-race customisation from dark iron to high mountain.
The only narrative I really enjoyed in Legion was the Nightborne to be honest.
With that said, the artifacts were fun. It was fun. I just have a lot of gripes with it.
After Teldrassil was destroyed, the Night Elves sought refuge in Stormwind as refugees. After this cinematic, they sought refuge in race changes to humans
no we sought refuge in ffxiv smh
Imagine the Primus just putting Zovaal in the Maw after he carved those runes on him.
“This man has been very naughty.”
“Do -NOT- release.”
“Yes, that means -YOU-.”
“No seriously, -DON’T-.”
Do you have their twitter handle? I’d like to know more!
The implication of Elune willingly letting her “favourite subjects” die to help Ardenweald sounds really stupid on paper but it’s one of those things that makes perfect sense given the mess of a story they are telling in Shadowlands.
they were already dead jim
i’ll put you in the bibliography dw xx
Having finally watched it, yeah, I can agree with peeps pointing out that “in the wake of tragedy” sounds more like a reaction than ‘Elune let it happen’.
It’s one of those; as an independent bit of cinematography it’s quite neat. But… there’s still SO many unanswered questions. What was the Night Warrior’s power, why did it leave Tyrande right as she was about to crush Sylvanas (was that to save her from the power consuming her, or not?) and… just who is behind all this “Oh no, women getting vengeance bad!” stuff because, honestly, it’s like the SAME damn arc about 4 or 5 times over now. Change the damn record?
I’m not going to start on how this shifts, warps and undermines Elune and the Night Elves faith either, cos oh boy there aren’t enough hours left in the night… -sigh-
I kinda wish Blizzard didn’t do their damndest to vindicate my every worry about this expansion.
It’s almost like they are intentionally picking the worst option they can at every chance.
