PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 1)

you poor fool

that was the THIRD fragment of Uther’s soul, it’s still on Azeroth

Slands Uther is the first and second fragment of Uther’s soul.

Hope that clears it up

What about the Uther’s soul that appears at his Tomb, both before that draenei and Mehlar Dawnblade, aswell as to the Argent Crusade when they’re looking for Tirion? Is that the FOURTH fragment then?

“Yeah we frecked Garrosh up, we admit it but we’re still going to double down on Thrall’s innocence in this”

Garrosh is responsible for his actions, but so is Thrall. Garrosh was utterly unprepared for the Warchief role and not given enough support. He wasn’t ready or qualified for such a responsibility, and that much should have been blatantly obvious - he is a soldier, not a diplomat, and a Warchief needs both.

He even objected to being given the position!

I feel like they still have not properly addressed the train of thought that led Thrall to actually make this decision, to make him believe no one else was better for the job.

— We need a faction war for our next expansion for marketing reasons but it wouldn’t make sense with Thrall at the helm, maybe we could replace him with Garrosh?
— Genius, go ahead!

idk why they thought the Thrall-Draka-Garrosh scene was necessary. Thrall’s guilt over it while still accepting that Garrosh had made his own choices was evident in WoD and reinforced in Legion.

Did they just need something for Thrall to do in this patch

yes. pretty much

people wanted him back but they have no idea what to do with him other than have him stand in the background

When will Wrathion save Anduin?!
Also, where’re Malygos and Deathwing’s spirits?

Dragons especially seem suited for the janitor realms but outside of Ysera I don’t think we’ve seen either scale or tail of any of them.

People really out here telling me Onyxia wouldn’t end up in Revendreth or Maldraxxus? nah

We need to go wider

What about alien dragons? Or alien worlds’ equivalent of dragons?

Not here.
The went probably to rest in G’Hanir, the Mother Tree
It served (so far) as an afterlife for all winged creatures of Azeroth including even dragons, all of which could be seen flying amongst its many branches.
Pocket afterlife dimension in the Emerald Dream, not unlike Bwonsamdi’s Other Side for Trolls. Just this is/was Aviana’s. After her rebirth, the Tree reborned too

Except G’hanir is suited in the Emerald Dream… And since Ardenweald and the Emerald Dream are two entirely different things now and the Emerald Dream is not an afterlife…

Yeah i think its totally fine to tell the current gameplay & lore devs they should lose their jobs, because if nobody is responsible (thats why you have a lead game dev like Ion for, duh), then it looks like they are not taking responsibility.

Own up and admit you messed up or throw your leader under the buss and get someone else in charge who will lead with an iron hand. If you have no clue what you are supposed to be doing, get someone in charge who tells you what to do.

The more pressure the management side gets, the better.

You mean the tree that’s been dead for millenia and its last vestige is being hauled around by a resto druid?

yeah I don’t think so

More interesting than budget vampires, that’s for sure.

dragons spend the afterlife in the staff of a resto druid that was sacrificed to fix sargeras’ sword

what a way to go out

My next expansion idea is slowly shaping up, problem is I am trying to make the pre-expansion in-game events about equal in terms of time and effort rn.

Send us the copy and we shall all coodinate a mass sending to Blizzard’s HQ.
