If only we got to meet him as players in other covenants. Right now this has all the weight of the Outrigger Captain becoming the Lord Admiral.
Really reminding me of the Willowblossom quest, which is actually a Shadowlands quest I can say was pretty good.
Which is weird because the standard questing progression naturally leads you to the Venthyr to follow up the story unto the Nathria raid. Covenants were a mistake.

Robots are genderless up until the point of a sapient AI identifying itself. Sticking boobies on it beforehand is kind of presumptive.
I think the comparison is more that non-Kyrian players are unlikely to remember who Pelagos is (assuming he has a character or story at all in that faction), similar to how Yrel is just an escaped slave in the starting area, then an exarch by Talador - so Horde players missed out on a ton of character development.

No no no, Pelagos is Trans. Female in life, male in death! So its Transphobia to either make him a feminime char(even if it was his choice story-wise, which would make him a noble af char) or make him the battery for a feminime char.

Aside from the current world Angels. Angels in Warcraft should be otherwordly in Warcraft. Hell they could literally open the Old/New Testament or Bible and be done with having otherwordly beings in their game. Add in some Egyptian and Norse angels/gods alongside their descriptions of lands/worlds/realms… And you’d have an expansion’s worth of proper afterlives unlike everything seen on Azeroth(or Earth for that matter)
