Yeah they’re basically inventing new ways to be mad about how men are oppressed etc etc. Typical Gamer™ behaviour so don’t buy into it. Nobody is mad about our new incubus except the ones who wanted a radically different model.

To elaborate slightly, several of the threads I saw atleast personally were from the same people who otherwise then(and today) make weekly threads on things such as why gay people merely existing is causing the end of the world and other similar topics. Every now and then, several of them(either on the same character or another one but without hidden alts) has made outrage posts, mostly as a way to generate drama.
Some people who wanted a…very underaged model.

Everyone knows nelfbros were getting BTFO’d for 2 expansions now, but nobody mentions what it’s like being a Forsakenbro/Sylvanas loyalist. Surely this is the time when you wash your hands off this mess of a story?

Most were just “loyalists” out of spite of Blizzards story, no?
I mean they knew Sylvanas was evil and would have to go eventually, just the way Blizzard went about it and then inserting Calia as her replacement was a 
move by Blizzard.

There was a group of WoW players specifically on twitter that wanted a more twink/softer boyish model. Many of the suggestions there implied very specifically on boy, both looking(and probably sounding) in their early teens.
Dw guys, the jailer made the Plague of Undeath, zo the Primus can fix Lordaeron!
And then it will be the first zone shared between an Alliance and Horde race(NElves/Forsaken) because Ranger-General Sylvanas Windrunner will invite the Kaldorei in their new shared home and Malfurion and Tyrande will accept! (This way the NElves have a new capital and the Orcs can claim Kalimdor).
This will all be explained for 50% in the NElf heritage Armor questline and 50% in the Forsaken heritage armor questline.
Worgen will get a building in Stormwind as new capital.

I haven’t been playing with any loyalists, but if u had to imagine, you don’t really need to hate blizz or the way the story develops to play a loyalist. If I remember correctly, after sylvanas farts herself away, some of the forsaken npcs in Org will chat that they will still simp for her.
What I’m trying to say is that becoming a loyalist doesn’t need to be OOC motivated.
Well yeah, axing your character because they met a story appropriate end is one thing. Having them try to go through an Olympic course of mental gymnastics to explain why they still follow her after her 3rd or 4th change of heart is a bit different.
Well that’s just how you peacefully conquer a city. You sit around and stink up the place until the locals just up and move.
The war hasn’t changed. The weapons have.

Following Shadowlands, all forsaken are either returned to life or turned into Light-Undead, forming a new peaceful Lordaeron under the guidance of their rightful Queen Calia.

cool so the Banshee Queen got Thanos-snapped and replaced by a character that’s basically the old Sylvanas but with the Banshee Queen’s memories?
Is it even possible to write this in a lamer way? The haters are mad because she’s essentially redeemed by default (considering It Wasn’t Really Her 
), while her fans are mad because they straight-up deleted the character we’ve been watching and interacting with since… the end of the WC3 mission where she died and got turned lmao.
Anyway are y’all excited to see the trio of Sylvanas, Calia and Voss working together to heal the Forsaken? Hope to see my main girl Tyrande work with them! SO wholesome! Renewal, baby! Whoo!

No, night elves get to share land with the Legion and Void because their nature Life magic is equal to theirs as cosmic forces of change, making night elves, demons and void creatures natural allies.
This is woven together with Elune’s dark side as a Void entity and the Satyrs as intermediaries to the Legion remnant.

Doesn’t matter. They were there and served as a catalyst to loyalist rp. Unless you mean they were retconned and were never even meant to be there in the first place. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised.
Quietly retconned out or part of the routine scrubbing of half of last expansion’s lore with each new prepatch?
Could be either. Just removing them would make sense because it’s not hard to imagine that loyalists would not stuck around Org for long and go elsewhere to establish their HQ or whatever. But if it was meant to be a retcon… well, yeah.

i’m genuinely triggered by how they’re STILL working their asses off to homogenize every mainstay character as much as possible. same for the races in general.
god, imagine having the power to steer the course of the Warcraft franchise and you respond to that opportunity by writing conflict and diversity out of the lore and warping the story till it’s more fantasy Marvel than what Warcraft used to be.
