That objection doesn’t make sense, Preach is off the mark.
What Blizz want to be indicating is that Sylv’s soul was split into two. Half of it (Ranger General) was in Frostmourne (apparently not getting tortured, but instead being just ‘unconscious’ until now) and half of it was raised into Banshee Queen Sylv.
They want us to believe (apparently) that neither is a ‘good’ or ‘evil’ side, inherently just…‘fractured’? I guess? We still don’t know what that means, exactly, for Sylv or the Forsaken or anyone else killed by Frostmourne.
Anyway since RG Sylv’s soul was frozen in “time” it’s got zero memory between death and now, while BQ Sylv’s soul had to live through the Scourge domination, Forsaken, etc. etc. So BQ Sylv still felt pointless etc. after LK died and went for the suicide option.

This is just every cinematic and encounter with Sylvanas. She proclaims some bold notion of sophistry that never gets elaborated on.
Blizzard love to say things that sound grand but ultimately mean nothing.
They think they sound like Confucius but they actually sound like a crackhead getting dragged out of a convenience store by cops.
Anyone can do it.

We wanted Sylvanas the Banshee-Queen death, lo and behold.
We wanted an continueation of the Night-Warrior questline, lo and behold… 
(I’ll add in some suggestion later on, though!)
I didn’t get invited to the community council unsurprisingly.
Or at least I didn’t get an email confirming I did.
