Nintendo delaying a war game because of the ongoing conflict in eastern Europe. I wonder if Blizzard will shy away from a war oriented expansion now too because they like avoiding sensitive topics.
Oh the general message is clear deference to rightful authority and consistent portrayal of the working class as easily manipulated dimwits or dangerous revolutionaries.

I don’t know if somebody pointed this out yet but during Nobbel’s analysis I noticed that, because the ending cinematic is mostly a flashback, it is implied the people who defeat them only hear the Jailer mutter “What is to come,” before he succumbs.
A fitting in world display of the messy, incomplete story telling of modern WoW.

It looked cool on the storyboard, okay? I bet Afrasabi sabotaged it last moment, but it was cool!
Also I like that the Primus is the only one not seen on screen because they hadn’t already made a cinematic model for him so they just did a shadow for him instead.

While I’m talking about models, the hobo Sylvanas in-game model that was datamined (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FNcIKKpUYAAD6gX?format=jpg&name=large) never seems to actually show up in game. The cinematic uses a different higher fidelity model, as all of the special trailer-but-in-game cinematics do.
Poor planning or yet another indicator of cut content? Probably both.
that will be used in a later in-game cinematic where you have a heart to heart with her and put everything to rest so that you can forgive her and move on
I think the initial plan was to show Sylvanas in casual outfit but then Denusar said 'Oh hell na my waify can’t be shown like a plain pleb, we give her back her whole gear outfit back including quiver she lost at the raid."
In the dev preview she is using her hobo gear, but it got switched out to her Redemption Gear™ it seems.
I guess they thought she wasn’t cool enough, we can’t have that.
One thing that irritates me (it’s a nitpick but it irritated me in WoD too) - we defeated the big bad man and closed off the ‘portal’ between worlds. Aren’t these characters/the champion effectively stuck in the Shadowlands (and Alternate Draenor)?
She’ll wear it next expansion where she’s the lovable barkeep at The Banshee’s Wail; the finest inn, eatery and reanimation spot in all of Tirisfal!

You mock but Sylvanas having a quiet character moment with former-Scarlet Captain turned-Forsaken Renee Lauer would actually be something I am 5000% in favour of.
Death Knights have been going to/from the Shadowlands since Wrath via death gates, so no. Darion and the Ebon Blade can get everyone home.
Not Bolvar though, since apparently he still uses Paladin abilities lol, really was the worst Lich King ever.
Actually that was retconned to be the Veil, the border between Shadowlands and other worlds so DKs have never been to the actual Shadowlands 
Too bad I just retconned it back.
