Furthermore shaming people for liking something is really braindead behaviour. You’re entitled to your feelings and views re: the game and the story, but actively shaming others who do like it (or parts of it) is posting
Hrothgarr Stonemug was a very controversial figure in AD’s history who amongst other things paid people to infiltrate guilds and cause enough drama to disband them from within and by the end of his career he was RPing a socialist of the nationalist kind as the democratically elected president of Stormwind who parroted more than one speech made by the painter. And formed the Stonemug Youth. They wore armbands with their party symbol too.
Trying and mostly failing to keep his Exaviel-esque brand of Scarlet RP going.
I know this name.
This actually happened? Hahahahaha, the absolute mental state of such a person…

this is really cool, anyone want to make some bread
i’m something of a baker myself
yeah the thing is that the elf genocide/civilians dying en masse in teldrassil fails to invoke any emotion because at the end of the day this is wow, numbers dont matter and there are no consequences to your actions.
i mean even the writing team thought it would be funny to just send their souls into superhell to be slurped by shadow demons for all eternity for tasty snacks, only for their literal god to say “killing ur killer is actually wrong lmao”
since it can’t be a tragedy, it must be a comedy.
- That, and i have just never liked elves in any fantasy genre. The opposite, actually. I enjoy playing the gremlin/underdog races, but not the major antagonists (e.g, orcs), but rather the fringe ones (e.g. goblins). Despoiling is fun in games.
For me, the gameplay of WoW is finally good after 3 expansions. That’s what is keeping me up and about at the moment. I also plan to start roleplaying again, though I have had almost a 2 month hiatus since my holiday.
I reserve the right to be grouchy and cynical about looming updates and datamines. I’ll give praise where it’s due and Dragonflight has surprised me even if the bar is set pretty low after shadowlands.
Oh, buddy, the screenshots I have…
He was nowhere as cool as neither the king whose hall was terrorised by the vile Grendel nor the throat of the world.
Preach. It’s weird to read this thread from time to time as someone who is actually having fun with the expansion. Just keeping my expectations with the lore moderate.
This.
Hell, I want the game to do well (sunk-cost fallacy maybe applies, whoda thunk it), but there’s a lot of ground to make up after BFA then SL.
And, sure, some of it is just finding like-minds, or even screaming into the void. Because god knows the devs don’t communicate with us mere mortals :V
This.
I get people having expectations and wanting certain stuff, but some just cannot find anything good in anything WoW related anymore and make it known evey chance they get.
I also want to see certain things, and when they don’t happen, I am dissappointed aswell, but atleast I can see positives every update, etc…
And then there are some people who are here to complain about the game every chance they get😩
And don’t get me started on the Elune reveal.
Giving Elune actual dialogue was a mistake. Especially by ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL of Tyrande.
Bonus points because it’s all so tyrande can choose vengeance or renewal except she already tried to make that choice earlier while pvping sylvanas and then elune withdrew her power mid-fight
Is the Velen quest actually on PTR? It’s in the dev notes but I can’t seem to figure out where it starts.
Far as I know only some text about it got mined so far, no PTR yet

They mention it in this thread from 7 hours ago, with the note that Draenei have been disabled - but Draenei are enabled again, so…? Thought then again the Dreamsurge quest isn’t working right now either.
I’m here for the same reason I watched all seasons of Vikings. It started out good, but from the midpoint on I was more morbidly fascinated with what insanely strange decisions the creators thought were good.
“And then he found a christian cross hewed out of stalactites inside a cavern a mile underground on an island in the Atlantic and then the island exploded.”

Awh yizzz!

I watched that show myself as I was curious about how the Vikings will be depicted especially since I don’t know much about them.
Learned a bit about them and the whole Greenland thing. But then…… an arab lady appeared out of nowhere and I was shocked, in a good way.
Especially since she was smart and a lover of astrology, something we barely get recognition for.
All in all the show was great, and I loved seasons 2 the most. At times it felt like a group of friends going on a wow adventure and at other times it was more serious.
