Realistically, why did people think that Blizzard would devote resources to creating a brand new faction-restricted racial city that isn’t involved in the current story in some shape or form?
But the Forsaken got their city back!
The City of Lordaeron is a mostly vanilla skeleton with a dozen Wrath of the Lich King assets scattered across it, and it’s barely the size of a Stormwind City district. It’s not that much of a win.
Night elves should absolutely get something, I can agree with that, but I think people might have been expecting too much if they thought that night elves would get Amirdrassil as a traditional racial city without a hitch.
It will probably get Suramared where only a section is usable post raid for people to play in.

Okay, so, let’s sum up a few things.
- First, the items related to the Forsaken Heritage set that weren’t added’s icons are named ‘Undercity’, with one in specific referring to a spear that ‘Undercity Guards’ would use, even though that there have not been any new guards added to Tirisfal, nor any new weapons being showcased in the heritage quest; and the old ‘Undercity’ guards were abominations, not regular undead with weapon models.

- There are updated tabards of Silvermoon City and Darnassus datamined; with the Darnassian one being specifically called just that, even though the two forsaken tabards that were added for the Heritage were not named after their original city.

- There’s also that one ‘leak’ about an updated Quel’thalas that looked eerily similar to when the Jailer was ‘leaked’, with people claiming it’s a forgery from a certain server, but finding no proof about that claim even after I believed it myself for a few months. (Side to side below for comparison.)

- There are many updated HD vehicles that are themed after the player factions being datamined right now, (one of which being the steam boat, which is only found in Stormwind) which is specially weird, considering none of these factions are present in the Dragon Isles, and there are no faction conflict storylines for the foreseeable future.

- And now, Blizzard has said that they are releasing a that tint of the Heritage Nelf armor for something else, but they cannot disclose any information about it just yet.
- And to top it all off, there’s the Ironforge Guard datamined models from a few patches ago.
They are updating the city hubs. Mark my words.
