Imagine having a prophet who can’t prophecise at all… Or being a dark prophet who’s so hated by his own people for being the worst because all your visions are the worst possible and neither can even predict tomorrow’s weather.
The only guy who gave you real time spoilers in-game without even being some (poorly) enigmatic ramble like anything old god related is that one disciple of Zul whose warning we “conviniently” never revealed to Rastakhan as we quest in Zul’Dazar.

Pretty sure there’s an entire plot point in BFA about how Zul is a ‘prophet’ because he keeps giving prophecies that are mostly lies which eventually lead him to getting power, such as Zul convincing Rastakhan that Zuldazar was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean unless he did something about it… only for it to only flood in certain areas and stop there, but by then Zul already had left Zuldazar with an entire fleet full of trolls pledged to his cause.
He’s much less of a Velen and much more of a Shang Tsung.
