PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 2)

If it makes you feel any better the people playing Werewolves now have 2x instances of their heritage being about their bri’ishness instead of the fact they’re. . .Werewolves.

How did they manage to make an even worse Worgen heritage?

During the end of Shadowlands the Horde reclaims Lordaeron with the help from the Maldraxxus. Alliance doesn’t participate in this and they’re disguised as random Horde so they can do the quest and can follow the story.

But now Calia claims that it could not have been done without the help of the Alliance… What!?

Maybe worgen and forsaken should team up against the writers

“The attempt on my life has left me scarred and deformed, but I assure you my resolve has never been stronger. The war is over. The Incarnate of Flame has been defeated, and the Primalists have been foiled. We stand on the threshold of a new beginning. In order to ensure our security and continuing stability, the Kaldorei will be reorganized into the Second Kaldorei Empire, for a safe and secure society, which I assure you will last for another ten thousand years!”

Everygnome is recapturing their gnomelands, or getting new ones and we’re still stuck as second-class Ironforge citizens.

Lorewise Crapopolis (Kezan) is in the hands of the Bilgewater Cartel, wish they’d made Kezan and Lost Isles reachable for players tho.

Sucks, huh? To see another faction have all the cool cinematics and ingame zones changed, while you get robo-cat… Errrr Calia :smirk:

On a more serious note; darn I hate hoe they’re pushing Calia as the major Forsaken character, simply because she is not a Forsaken, and now with them focussing on the Queen part, when she herself said “It’s just Calia” and being a part of the democratic council that represents the Forsaken I feel like they have no idea what they actually want to so with the Forsaken and their leaders when there are so much more interesting characters then Calia.

Calia has been a blight upon the Forsaken ever since she was raised as a Light “Forsaken” and the best they can do with that abomination is get rid of it. Alliance doesn’t want her anymore, and the Horde never wanted her🙄

Edit:

Night Elves need this to, please!

Well, the main theme of worgen is their curse and there is no greater course than being Bri*ish, so it checks out.

Fitting, as their curse is a single generation problem. Gilneas will endure.

Also, now that Malfurion is back, sad they didn’t give him the Winter King treatment.

It really shouldn’t be. How you gonna add playable werewolves to your setting only to turn around and say they’ll all be dead within a century?

Maddening.

To be fair, between blood and bites transferring the curse just fine, I don’t see an end to things within one generation.

Eventually though? For sure going to be super easy to manage, barely an inconvenience.

Not me being an emotional wreck after watching this lmao.
I’m just happy that it ended this way. And the fact that they mentioned Kalimdor makes me really hopeful that we’ll return there one day.

Now that 10.2.5 has gone live, I can confirm that the portal to Bel’ameth is indeed usable by characters of any level. This is great news for roleplayers.

The new Amirdrassil is also visible on the world map for everyone, regardless of faction and level. While doing the 10.2 campaign finale, you’re temporarily phased into the old Amirdrassil, as it was before 10.2.5, and return to the new one after completing the campaign.

In other news:

Kalecgos is stepping down from the Council of Six, which is completely logical. So far it’s unknown who will replace him.

Chromie probably. We’ve had a Red and a Blue already, may as well just cycle the colours.
