Ngl I cannot wait for the darker purple, white and blue shoulder capes!
Also the Ensemble’s are always a fine addition to ones wardrobe!

I’m just looking forward to having all the coloured plain cape/hood variants, they’re really handy tbh.
There’s a few items from when Trading Post first came out, before I resubbed, that I hope come back around at some point, too.
I’ll finally have my filthy Warden set, which I should have already.
Same.
Then my drust terror shall be complete.
One of the reasons I wish I had re-subbed to WoW earlier ._.
I for one can be trusted responsibly with sliders. I can also be relied upon to make at least one silly extreme nonsense character with max [censored] sliders.
Just getting it out of my system. Conan exiles was hilarious.
Boob & posterior sliders maxxed.
I do wonder how long it’ll be before the Warden mog is replaced with the next 12-month incentive.
Finally a valid excuse for night elf bouncing. Showing off.
Small brain: reeee the night elf idle bounce animation doesn’t fit with their culture at all!!
big brain: the nelves bounce to show-off
(disgusted noise)
There is still no excuse for /clap or /cheer.

The idle bounce is simply a distraction technique that lets other Night Elves nearby Shadowmeld quicker.
[i quickly shadowmeld my use of copium]
Dreadlord Regalia looks neat for Eredar roleplayers and Goldshire roleplayers and that’s about it. Like the blood troll set, it will find most of its use in the ERP crowd.
Ash’adar looks neat for warden roleplayers, but it looks a little too glowy and magical and high fantasy for the Argent Dawn community. Don’t expect to see many people using it.
Thank you, you just voiced the reason why I avoid like 95% of transmogs in this game.
When the trading post rotates each month, I usually grab the cheap low-key transmogs and ignore the rest, so my tender just piles up unused.
On one hand, sometimes the Argent Dawn community’s preference for grounded low-magic fantasy can feel a little silly, especially during the more fantastical high fantasy expansions with absolutely nothing grounded or gritty about them.
And the other hand, we should probably be happy that Blizzard hasn’t released any grungy-looking battle-damaged low-fantasy mercenary outfits on the cash shop, because half of Argent Dawn’s roleplaying population would feel obligated to buy them.
At least this way, we can ignore the sparkly whale-trap outfits.
Ash’adar would’ve worked 100 times better if it was just a normal saber instead of this.
I’m not going to betray the one fantasy setting where all of its original concept art could be mistaken for metal album cover art to make my characters look like level 25 ‘kill six boars’ NPCs. Having said that, I think it’s far less about it being too flashy, and more so that the mount has nearly 0 lore attached to it, beyond it being unique.
It’s not like, for example, the Ashes of Al’ar mount, which you could wave off and use in roleplay as being a conjured phoenix, which are magical creatures that have actual lore written about them.
The aesthetic might put some off, sure, but even those who enjoy such aesthetics won’t use the mount, because there’s simply no way to justify it with the lore that Blizzard has given us so far about it (or a lack thereof.)
