Ah, my people.

Ah, my people.
I always thought that this set looked quite banger.
The Waveborne Diplomat’s Regalia is a new nautical themed transmog set available for $20 USD in the battle.net shop and in-game store. Looking fancy is half the work of a diplomat, especially at sea, so go make some waves!
The beauty of a setting like Warcraft, is there’s room for all sorts of aesthetics and concepts. It’s honestly one of the things that has kept me invested after several years. There is no “better than the others” aesthetic in terms of adherence to Azeroth, and instead we have a smorgasbord of cultures to play around with as we please. How great is that!

I have a compulsion to get them each month, just in case I’ll need them to fill a spot in a future transmog appearance. They’re quite versatile!
Good for anyone who wants to play a noble dandy, especially since the shoulderpads are optional and a bit silly.
However, there’s plenty of other choices for looking like a silly nobleman, such as the new Sky-Captain’s set, so it’s not a surprise that it hasn’t been immensely popular.
Dreadlord Regalia looks neat for Eredar roleplayers and Goldshire roleplayers and that’s about it.
Those wings would be neat for warlocks, I guess!
The horns too, if they weren’t bound to the helmet D:!

It’s SO frustrating having missed some of them because I re-subbed, like, 5 months after DF first came out D:

Rubs hands in having all the cloaks
The Dreadlord set ironically really fits the Darkshore Sentinel looks for the Night Elves.
I hope it’ll come around on Trading Post at some point in this case, as it’d be one of the few sets I’d actually want to get. That, and also

And even within them you have some wild variations on how gaudy and flamboyant their gear can be.
With that said. Some of the “high fantasy” sets are genuinely a bit much and look like they should be strapped up outside of a casino in Vegas.
What frustrates me the most is that the overwhelming majority of NPC sets or outfits are really good.
Player sets too often have too much neon or glowy bits or moving bits or dangly fits or visual noise slapped on all over the place. A real case of Less is More more often than not.
Also, obey the damn three-point rule.
The pain of finding a cool weapon but
the head is dislodged from the shaft and there is a floating magical glue crystal keeping it together.
Anywho
Any possible news on when or if we will get Druid of the Flame skin tones for Night elves?
I want to make a fire mage really badly.
Oh, do NOT get me started on weapons, the sheer number of ugly - 2004 looking junk, the inconsistent sizes, the sheer impracticality of some (and no, not in the ‘But muh Low Fantasy!’ way, in the ‘This is actually stupid even for magic and fantasy’ way), and the absolutely sad state of affairs that is ranged weapons. Guns. Especially guns, good grief.

Nope, nothing het sadly…
I hope it comes alongside the news of Night Elf Shamans, though😏

Anything gay?

Druids of the Flame, come on, of course it is.
At this rate, things are not looking good for patch 10.2.6. Still no news and the only response is a “Sorry?” on Twitter.
Executive Producer and Vice President for WoW, Holly Longdale, posted on X (formerly Twitter) about lessons learned from players waiting for Patch 10.2.6.

Apparently they don’t intend on giving any information on Patch 10.2.6 until it drops as the Devs have described it as a “fun experiment” based on the success of Season of Discovery’s. . .discovery system.
Honestly, I don’t care that much.
They should have provided a little more information about Season 4 and upcoming gameplay elements that we know are coming, but there’s no need for the specifics of 10.2.6 to be spoiled.
The only people who lose out are the e-celebs who profit off of disseminating the spoilers and racing each other to see who can release a video and scoop up all of the clicks and views first.
Everyone calls it a pirate flag, I see the new Symbol of the Forsaken faction, and thus great things to come for the Forsaken, surely!?
With the current content lull and the decision to have no 10.2.6 PTR, this patch better be good.
