I imagine the Empire will be an 0.1 or an 0.2 threat for us to spank. Further building up on the Light being more evil than most people assume like how it was shown in the Gilneas questline.

I rather we stick to the central theme of TWW and they just add more underground zones we travel to (eg. Undermarket under Kezan) and keep the surface-level threats for the other two expansions.
I’d even argue that this Arathi empire ordeal should be kept for Midnight as the Elves and Quel’thalas have more to do with them.

We have one style and it’s following Dadwing - Shadowflame and all.
That being said I love that the helmets look to allow hair to be shown too on visage form so I’m VERY excited for this set.

That would unironically explain why they call themselves Arathi. The Byzantine Empire was only called that by later historians; its own people called it the Roman Empire, and themselves Romans.

Just whyyy… sounds alot like Blizz just can’t let go of it’s Warhammer roots huh?
It’s still a better alternative than it being the Scarlet Empire with us helping the Scarlet Incursion in TWW.
Blizzard will literally invent a dogmatic empire that exists on the dark side of Azeroth and a half-elf ethno-expedition just so the Alliance doesn’t suffer any negative story beats.

The empire might also get written out/changed due to possible fan feedback. There were some quests that were rewritten back in the previous betas and the like.

Like Watcher Ladimore, who in Legion beta turned to evil with the rest of the Night Watch. After a player backlash, she was spared and now leads the Night Watch lorewise.

spoilers but the titans were actually hiding that entire continent for us for reasons yet to be thought up by the writers, and the end of the last titan when we kill them will at last reveal the truth
