PTR Spoiler/Discussion Thread (Part 2)

I wish.

Justice for the Krokul. :fist:

The last time it was a big deal it was classes like human hunters. And that’s at the core just a guy with a gun and a pet.

I get it, and I know it used be this whole big thing; but if they’ll add them like how they added the Orc Priests after the backlash, I will accept it aswell. After they reworked the Orc Priests, while not as grand as new classes being added before… They had more then a proper introduction to being playable!

I mean, no ofcourse they do not; but, for example Night Elves, can be made to work with relative ease. So while they do not need a precedent; its always good to have one available nonetheless!

Most AR’s are just customisation-options sold as a “Race”. Only exceptions are Nightborne’s and Kul Tirans(and even the Kul Tirans are debatable)

Edit:

Do not get me wrong; I am at my core against Every Class for every Race, but alas that ship has sailed a long while ago now. And I do agree that adding a Class to a race should be a bigger deal, we know Blizzard will never do that anymore! So going for the Lore blurbs like Orc Priest got is fine for me aswell!

Now I just want glyphs to alter the appearance for my spells… My NElf Priests needs silver Light!

We also had a total of 0 precedent of Vulpera warlocks as well (as a matter of fact we had more Zandalari warlocks at that point) and people took their existence in stride because… They learned how to become warlocks from others in the Horde or they took inspiration from the 7th Legion Death Squads that burned down their caravans.

So why would they be capable of this feat and not the 90% of the other races that are getting added in the patch?

So what I’m hearing is that vulpera are just minute worgen.

I was thinking back to the time when people melted half their brains out their ears explaining why it’s actually perfectly logical for lightforged death knights to exist in lore, this feels like a more final nail in the coffin. Lightforged were a mistake. To quote Jack Black, “Now I’m saying stop. It was an experiment and it didn’t work out.”

I forgot they existed until Gealek and you mentioned them…

Good old times… :smirk:
Them using Zeliek as a example was prime, tho

Also I was just thinking; I would be lying if I had expected NElf Warlocks before NElf Paladins and NElf Shamans…

I am not complaining… But I expected my NB Warlock to be the last one to be race-changed, lol

The Light sure picks their favourites among Humans. Tyrion gets a perfectly preserved body in the most holy of sanctum that not even the Ebon could raid with impunity (even though they did.) but the Lightforged who went through trials and became living embodiment of the Naaru/Light’s will… Naaaaah these guys get to die and be undead and not even a Light undead like Calia.

Know this, I took more psychic damage than you all reading this.

My Lightforged Draenei has seen his people being corrupted and enslaved for 13000 years by the Legion.

Now he gets to corrupt and enslave the broken and defeated remnants of the Legion and have them fight, suffer and die in the name of the Light!

Unlike most other race/class combinations that opened up along with them. As will be the case for most combos moving forward.

Proving that the Naaru are not true servants of the Light but false idols that seek to lead people astray.

They never existed as a class, they were a “race”.

LFD should’ve been customisations for draenei and Broken should’ve been the allied race. We were robbed :dagger:

Furry goblins, we already have pygmy’s, water goblins and big, dumb, goblins.

PS. LFD as death knights make sense.

Which will be my hope why only Warlocks are mentioned this patch!

But yea, you’re probably right and it will be up to us RPers and Lore-geeks to make sense of it in the end! (I still hold hope, tho!)

On a side note Sarkareth’s dies from cringe cinematic was funny

Broken should have been the TBC race for alliance. Draenei were a mistake.

I just hope that they either redefine or open up the lore for what warlocks can be if they have added them to all races, purely because of Draenei, Night Elves and especially Lightforged Draenei.

Pretty cool that you can roleplay a Zandalari, Grimtotem, or Feltotem Warlock now, though.

The support evoker spec opens the door for new support specs, or even a support class.

It’s our time, Bard Bros.

I mean, what can you expect from someone who shut out all help, and had no knowledge of the Old Gods in any way whatsoever?

Lorewise it makes sense, but from our God-s POV, its a little bit dumdum
