Exactly the problem with the magic lore. You can’t establish that they are different, keep saying so, but then in practice / or when you find convenient you overlook all the world building you’ve made.
I’m not even necessarily against draenei warlock, but have them recognize they’re freaking outcasts playing with what makes demons hungry for magic/life, potential land defilers and hated by their people.
What they have isn’t an explanation.

People should just pick their magic/skillset based off of naming puns. There is no greater power than when the character named Hanabi has fire powers. Slaps every single time.

Bad draenei, DK, worgen, pandaren, DH, VElf, mechagnome (j/k, no one plays them), HElf, dracthyr…

I know, I was more saying if it were to happen, a brief explanation or line somewhere as to them being accepted would be all it takes for it to work.
We fell short of that with dead elves in the Alliance.

This thread feels to me like people can’t imagine characters playing the old ‘fight fire with (fel)fire’ card. Or using Light methods to bind/imprison demons for use to serve penance/revenge/for the lols.
Give us more Glyph and visual customisation per race, Blizz. Make it all a lot easier.
I joined the Army of Light, carved Light runes into my flesh and altered my DNA to radiate Light so that I could create my own Shadow Wizard Money Gang.

Ngl… Would be pretty beeping epic to see a Demonology Warlock with Light-coloured spells to bind/summon demons…
Or maybe add Lightforged pets to their customisation-roster… If they forcily Lightforged a SHivarra and/or Dreadlord, surely other Demons can undergo the same progress, no?
On another note:
How is it normal to Lightforge a Demon, who’s very essence is… Uhh, demonic, BUT a Lightforged who turns demonic is one step to far? I mean isn’t it basicly the same thing, but reversed for one or the other?

So, aslong as a full Demon(like a Shivarra) can use Light magic, then I see no reason why a full Lightbeing(like Lightforged Draenei) could not use Fel magic?
I mean I doubt its the one way street some people make it out to be, especially when we have fullfledged Demons casting Light spells…

Several demons use Light, Shivan priests in particular. Presumably as part of their anti-void crusade and general omnicidal zealotry.
