Conceptually intriguing and definitely more noteworthy
Undeads who make being undead their entire personality.
I’m not saying the option is incredible, I’m saying that he runs away with an idea that doesn’t make sense. It’d be like he posted all the horde tabards with motifs of animals that don’t exist in Kalimdor because Stormwind has a lion as its symbol.
A skull isn’t, as the guy seems to want to point out, this incredble betrayal of the Forsaken race. The Defiler’s tabard, the skulls on their ships, their skull catapults, the skulls in their streets, the skulls on their signposts, their skull doorways, their bank vaults made of skulls has set a pretty skull-centric precedent for the Forsaken (although yes a Lordaeron L would have been cooler).
It’s fine if they want to be undead. I don’t agree with the lifestyle choice, but as long as they keep it to themselves and don’t force it on children, it’s alright.
I’m fine with them being undead and all, but do they really have to be so in my face about it?
I like how you both went to the exact same place there with no coordination.

Our post-counts also both ended with the meme number.
The universe is at perfect sync.
Brb, buying a lottery ticket.
So. What you’re saying is; they already use skulls to much(which are better looking). So they just needed to slap another skull on another part of the Forsaken iconography because the Forsaken are already skull-centered. Instead of trying to come up with something cool and new (Like the Icon of Torment they used before)?
I mean. I suppose Night Elves could use another tabard with a giant tree on it because, hey, why try to deviate from something? Especially since they are going to get another world-tree anyways?
Ngl. the Red plate sets could and do deffo work for both Stromgarde or the Scarlets…
Gold-ish one looks very… Gilnean, imho?
I’m saying that the skull is not inspired, but does not equal to gnomes having a picture of a bald gnome as their racial crest.
I’m just spitballing here, but a coffin with the number five in Roman numerals on it could’ve also been cool, to symbolise the five founding members of the new Desolate Council.
Options which are immediately more appealing than a normie skull:-
The lordaeron L crest
The lorderon twin-headed eagle
The lordaeron twin-headed eagle except spooky (twin-headed vulture? bone eagle?)
A bird skull (yes, a bird skull is better than a human skull)
People would be meming hard if Turalyon replaced the stormwind lion with a normal sword (not even his magic sword, just a bog standard footman sword) so like…let them mock. Yes, it’s not a 1-to-1 comparison, but hyperbole doesn’t have to be? Sometimes people use (humorous) exaggeration to deliver a point that measured dialogue might not do so as well.
Damn, the Heritage Armor questline for orcs is so good. So many orc characters are being brought back, including from Outland after so many years.
I think the main reason people mock the skull is because of how wildly simplistic it is. Contrast it for example with another Forsaken related skull tabard.

Orcs actually get to choose which clan to join. That is amazing. Much more than I could have hoped for!
It kinda does.
Which can’t be done with this engine.
This would be fitting, it works for both undead and Lordaeron. It would be a symbol of the Forsaken nation of Lordaeron, not a generic skull symbol simply because they are undead.

Turn it green and it’s an amazing Defilers tabard, but not a good Forsaken tabard.
I should watch a youtube video of this… Sounds fun!
Why not? They can put it on everything but a Tabard?
Tauren totem weapon transmog does seem to be a reward for the Baine quest, but not quite clear on what criteria you need to meet to get it. Totem cloak is the standard tauren reward, and a cabertoss toy for non-tauren.
Criteria probably gonna be “Be (Highmountain) Tauren”
