is that for SL? cause i would wager that M+ involvement this expansion is a lot lower than in the past because
a) SL is only like 2 months old,
b) gear drops via M+ is so scare people are just not doing them as much.
but while i HATE arena, cause its mostly based on the classes ability to burst nuke at the start (up until you reach the high levels where all players are full time pvpers), arena & BG’s are harder cause all pve is on a timer. thats why DBM can exist to predict “next bad naught in 3, 2, 1”. that doesn’t and cant happen in pvp.
Most people in BfA’s motivation for doing mythics was gear, or saving up for gear from the vendor. It makes sense that participation this expansion will be lower. I had to do mythics to be competitive last expansion, this time I don’t.
1v2 games are for the most part a player who significantly outgears and outskills 2 players.
To take that argument further, look at it from the 2 players perspective, pvp is obviously harder if they can’t win vs a single person surely?
There are always videos of players soloing raids, pretty sure there were videos of players soloing nyalotha encounters in 8.3
It would be extremely stupid to take that as an example that pve is easy if 1 player can solo it.
Then you talk about boosts? Like the entire pve scene is full of boosts, m+, mythic runs, mythic mounts. Selling challenge mode golds and mythic mounts was my main source of gold income in wod even more lucrative than garrisons were. Don’t act like boosts are a pvp only thing
why does someone who has no notable pvp achievement compare pvp with pve? you got scripted encounters in pve and you play vs bots. I done mythic raiding often enough and have several cutting edge achievements and you can have the most dead weight in your group and still get it done.
this post is just delusional. pvp takes way more time to learn a class or play it to perfection / knowing your enemy and counterpredicting their moves to get to 2.4 and above.
I just completed two 16s in time during tyrannical week on my mm this week. On the arenas I have tried I barely got past 1.5k rating this week. Maybe I am a terrible player. Maybe mm hunter is bad in arenas. Maybe my toaster 20 frame rate computer is not suited for pvp. Whatever the case rated pvp feels MUCH harder than pve content.
Roleplay is actually the hardest.
You need to know lore of the whole game, lore of your race, you need to have good grammar and good writing skills, you need acting skills and improvisation.
Roleplay >>> pvp and pve
