Just had it downloaded, put it in my wow classic interface folder but as I load my char it just gives me some error messages at the start.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Avoid addons you are the problem behind potential crashes

Did you put it specifically in the addon folder or just the interface folder itself. Could always try another version of the addon from an alternative source if the issue still persists

I couldn’t get it to work either. Put it in the AddOns folder, the game recognised it and it was in my addons list, but it just refused to work once I logged onto my character and wanted to look for the quests.
Did you set it load out of date addons?
So you actually have to play the game, and explore and find things on your own without an add-on holding your hand and taking all the difficulty away?

You make it sound like I would be surprised that lazy and useless people existed even then. I know there were add-ons. Doesn’t mean I agree with them, and the fact that people used add-ons because they were to useless to do a quest then does not justify people doing the same thing now.
then why did you base your comment as such?
calling people lazy and useless just cause they use an quest addon (instead of checkign a website wich most people did), how about you let people decide for themself how they like to play? it doesnt interfer with you in any way

Imagine being so concerned about how someone else is playing the game that the devs allow them too play. I know it’s tough but you can get through this 
Honestly it’s bonkers the attitude people take when they don’t like something. I could imagine asking you about a quest in game and getting the same reaction.
Did you try using the git hub AeroScripts version ? I know there are a few links about but that’s the one I used and I didn’t have any issues loading them up.

I haven’t said they couldn’t decide for themselves. But it won’t change my opinion on crap like questie. People who use it are lazy and useless.
That would involve you putting in at least a little effort and actually socialising, which is what the game is about. Not going hurr Durr arrow says that way.

It’s not this version that I had used, no. I found it on some website which had a number of Classic addons on it, forgot the address.
If the option to use an addon exists, then people are of course going to make use of the opportunity and make their lives easier. The rude and elitist tone is truly unnecessary in this case and you should drop it. For your information, I’ve given up on trying to use the addon after I saw it refuses to work for me, questing the “normal” way instead. So it’s not like I was incapable of doing such and the addon was the only way for me to level.
Imagine paying a subscription fee for a game that you have already beaten numerous times, to the point that it exceeds the cost of an AAA solo game, and not being entitled to skip (aka make slightly more convenient) the trivial boring part of that game that just serves as another paywall/time gate until you get to the interesting content. “Here Ion, take my yuan” /bow

Yeah you can have that opinion, but why do you think it’s okay to just throw jabs at others to make you feel like the better person. Get over it, you know reading the title that you’re not going to be interested in the discussion so why bother.
Fortunately even with my anxiety I still have the ability to hold down a conversation in game without the need to be asking where a quest is. I’ve come across some awesome people today (I’ve grouped up, even helped out with quests even though I’ve already finished. Answered questions, traded with people, and had a few laughs with people all while using questie). Believe it or not there are many scenarios that occur that can break into conversation.

Yes, some people like to misremember things. I had one or two back in the day and used thottbot often. Can’t remember which ones I used, but they were probably raid related as I guild raided back then.
