Really hope we get an answer soon.
Thanks for pointing out the problem that reasonable questions will not get any attention any other way
Would be great to see a blue post addressing this issue, I think a lot of people are going to be affected by this and losing out on rank 14 would be pretty harsh for people whoâs spent weeks ranking.
Blizzard should clarify what their plan is so people know whether or not they should continue to farm honor.
That said, is it really that much harsher than for those who spent one week less, and therefore will be one week off if Blizzard does one last calculation? Sure, the announcement is way later than it should have been, but people who are ranking this late were well aware of the risk of not making it. Rumors of an April/May release have been around since what? December?
People that have been Ranking for MONTHS without knowing the pre-patch date shouldnât be affected by a 2 week Pre-Patch announcement notice.
Knowing how long and demanding ranking is, this must be solved and efforts must be rewarded accordingly. This is one of the biggest end goals for some people in Classic. An rushed update shouldnât affect these people.
Please Blizzard we want a response.
My guess would be that you still get the honor/rank since you still get honor in the old system the days leading up to the pre-patch. But then again it is blizz so its anyones guess. Logic goes straight out the window
Hey⌠I am not really a PvP oriented player but I have friends who have spent last few weeks or even month trying to get to rank 14 and this was/is a HUGE thing to do. From what I understand Blizzard gave too short notice so all the effort put for the game in the last few weeks might be for nothing?
Blizzard any chance to comment on this? Pre-patch was promised to be long and we are getting two weeks (this is not OK) but here you are already ruining someones hard job which is even more NOT OK. There is a huge portion of players playing this game for PVP you know?
A blue post would definitely help out here. Zug zug
Hey Blizzard! PVPers exist too in case you forgot about us!
Excellent point raised there Nexo. I really hope some Blizzard rep is able to communicate with us about this topic so we know where we stand and what we can expect about a change of this situation with such short notice.
Late p6 rankers kekW
Guys, I had a long chat with GM and got a response in writing. I asked if I can share it here and got the permission, so here we go (gonna ask the friend to do that, I donât have image-link-sharing possibility).
I was also advised to keep the topic on the forum alive - so if you have some guildies or friends that can help with that please ask them to do so!
Also, this topic was created with a single goal in mind - to get Blizzardâs attention and an official answer as a result. So donât respond to trolls and donât complain about some other mechanics they may introduce in TBC - there are other topics to do that. Thanks and cheers.
Keep in mind that GMs donât always know what they are talking about. Just a couple of days aog (or was it yesterday?) someone posted a screenshot of a GM advising someone to cancel all their additional accounts because no form of multiboxing is allowed. That is simply wrong.
lol multibox andy get owned, fk em.
It seems nobody really has permission to post pictures or links so I need to do that:

Just add the â.â before âcomâ
and what is that means?
That GM team have no idea and they were not provided with any specific info regarding that topic yet. Our only hope is blue post.
Calculating honor before prepatch would be a no-brainer. Doesnât hurt anyone just helps people achieve their classic goals.
It would be great to get an official answer here.
