Southern Eversong Forest

27

Salarya was raised from birth as a Ranger, trained by her mother alongside her sister.

Salarya has a deep rooted belief in legacy and family loyalty. To deviate from an unbroken tradition of woodswomen would be high heresy to her.

Salarya is currently in a relationship with her bloodknight co-commander, and enemy.

Salarya is a fiend for brandy, and drinks a small glass per night.

Salarya is devoid of empathy, that is no secret. What is secret is her oedipus complex, and history of psychopathic episodes.

Salarya refuses to keep beasts as pets, seeing it as slavery. She only holds empathy for animals. However, she usually partners up upon her co-commander’s phoenix.

Her longbow.

Her identical twin, Lanarya, the only person in the world she’d die for.

On Argus, in Mac’Aree

Not yet reached her thirty-thousandth birthday, and her memories are a bit murky, but around twenty seven thousand give or take a millenium

It was happy and carefree with a loving family

She was (and still is) an adventurous archeologist and a scholar of antiquities. She is not really a “priest” rather a Shadow/Void Mage. It was a long journey wich started when they had to leave Argus and flee from the Legion; her mind shattered a bit then, and during the Exiled Ones journey with the Genedar, she gradually descended into madness after their arrival doomed world after world… on every planet she tried to rebuild what she lost, gathered ancient knowledge, became obsessed to find a way how to defeat the Legion, and eventually she find a semi-sentinent and organic blade, made by an Old God lurking on that world… and started to hear the whispers … and learned the one thing even the great Sargeras fears is the Void. Slowly she embraced the Darkness and left sanity behind

On Argus she had a boyfriend, but she was too young and too wild, always on an expedition and their relationship slowly fall apart
During the Genedar’s journey only a few times she tired to start something in a desperate attempt to find an anchor to sanity and reality, but eventually realized she is too… insane (or sane, depending on the point of view) to see the Naaru as saviours and divine “gods” and serve their will without question and often found herself in a holding cell to “think about her behavior”. So little room left for serious relationships.
Tho’ she was (and still is) flirtous and preferred her clothes practical (on an expedition every ellaborate robe or similar is just a hindrance, one should have freedom to move quickly to escape traps, monsters or run like Fel from something nasty) - usually just a
half loin-cloth and a shirt with a belt and back pack - she never was a… woman with questionable behaviour. Well she was, but not in that sense. But like everyone, loved the company of an another. Nothing serious.

Playing with her Panthara or watching the star filled night sky
But exploring an ancient tomb or… borrow some sacred text to study also works, her “job” is her hobby

She lost every hope the Exiled Ones one day save and rebuild their homeworld (especially after their return to Argus). More than two dozen thosuands years that was the only thing - aside the desire of revenge - that kept her going, never gave up, continue and helped her to keep up a somewhat sane person’s mask, almost an alternate personality. But after whats happened she lost hope and the reason to remain ‘sane’. Still wearing that mask, but deep down she knows it is over… the whispers became lauder and launder and she became self-destructive and dangerous; the Void that she wanted to use against the Legion and Sargeras warped its shadowy tentacles around her soul and there is no escape. Eventually she will surrender herself to the Darkness.
Okay, so this is not really a secret… but she likes to think it is

Her Panthara

A semi-sentient and organic sickle-like dagger… and Void-powers

She have several good and one best friend!
Sadly, all of them are imaginary… her shattered mind made them to make
loneliness somewhat berable. Sometimes only she can see them, sometimes she subconsciously uses her powers to manifest them from the shadows.
But eventually, reality shatters the dream, and she realizes the bitter truth: she is alone
Usually these clear moments are gone pretty fast, but sometimes they last just long enough for the feeling of loneliness to sink in…
…then to curl in to fetal position and cry.
A lot.

Question: Where was your character born?
Answer: Silvermoon City. The western, now destroyed part in particular.

Question: How old is your character?
Answer: He has just turned 977 last month. I was going for late 40s early 50s by human standards, where you’re definitely not young anymore, but still kinda in good shape.

Question: What was their childhood like?
Answer: Uneventful, but difficult. His father died when he was young and his mother was a harsh and mostly indifferent parent because of it.
He learned how to be polite and well behaved, but never knew open and clear motherly love.

The older he grew, the closer they’ve gotten. As he looked back in hindsight, with an adult mind, he understood why his mother was reluctant to show affection, being afraid that if she got attached to someone as much as she did her late husband, upon losing them, it would break her mind fully.
However, Lythe swore to be different and if he was to ever become a father, he would be a loving one.

Question: What made them choose to be the class they are?
Answer: Fairly easy to answer, difficult to elaborate on. Simple answer; vengeance. Most of his loved ones fell at the Scourge’s hands, so he had no problem joining Kael’thas’ forces, although a fair bit of his sanity was gone by this point. When as a Sunfury, he discovered that the Legion was behind the Scourge, while still very much despising undead, he extended and focused his hatres more on demons now. He had nothing else to live for than killing said demons and undead, becoming a demon hunter was really a no brainer for him.

Question: Have they ever been in a relationship?
Answer: Yes, he was married before the Scourge invaded. His wife died while they were fighting at each others’ side.

Question: What do they like to do to relax?
Answer: He has several ways to calm his mind while doing his best to shut his inner demon out. Darting across rooftops, trees or whatever else he can climb and jump and run through at where he is at that point helps.
But he’s also fond of reading and writing in his spare time.

Question: What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
Answer: He’s actually pretty insane. He acts relatively normal most of the time, but he also has vastly different behaviour according to his mood and he has regular breakdowns with violent shaking and all that (although people will very rarely see that).

Question: What is their favourite mount?
Answer: He doesn’t have one. He just uses whatever he can get his hands on when he does need a mount. But he does very much prefer using hawkstriders, if he can.

Question: Weapon of choice?
Answer: He uses spells most of the time actually, but when it comes to melee, he uses a curved shortsword and an axe. Yes, an axe. It’s one of those Honourbound ones in the model, but I just wrote vaguely thalassian styled in his TRP. The story behind it is that as he uses spells more often, the weapons are just there to finish off his enemy once they’re down. So while he knows how to use them, he rarely does. And axes are better for chopping off heads.

Question: Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
Answer: He doesn’t have a lot of people he can call friends. He thinks of people as allies, enemies or distractions, the latter being meant not maliciously, more like people he spends his spare time with. But he hasn’t gotten emotionally close to anyone, really.

Where was your character born?
Old Kalimdor. A town that was known, and named after, the unique herb Talysleaf. The nocturnal herb was known for its gentle glow at night, effective pain relief and rapid growth. Both were obliterated during the First Sundering.

How old is your character?
Just over ten thousand years old. In truth, she has stopped counting the exact day. Years in recovery, and later druidic slumber, made things difficult to keep track.

What was their childhood like?
Pleasant and joyous. There was a family drama of her mother pairing with a lowborn and bearing his three girls, Terintha being the youngest. Terintha was well on her way grasping runes and was in advanced class until the Sundering. Terintha and her family used what skills they had, and had to quickly learn new ones, to survive and help their people.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
The wounds to the world spurred her on; she felt she must have been able to do something. Terintha followed close to her father, and was soon called to druidism. Her mother wasn’t keen to begin with, but eventually a barrow den was built and maintained by the whole family during the Long Vigil, which Terintha eventually joined her father into the Dream.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
No. Ultimately, she really knows how to look after herself. While she has had companions, they were fleeting, as both parties understood. She believes her calling commands too much of her attention.

What do they like to do to relax?
A druid from head to toe. In times of ease Terintha travels to human cities, farms and regions to do what she can; advise people, help hapless fauna and such. For true indulgence, she loses herself a day or so into a book. Taking to the skies in flight form also works wonders.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
She used to have long conversation, which quickly turned intimate, with a male night elf far deep in the wilds. One dawn he confessed to be a green dragon taking elven form. Terintha was taken aback, but not entirely. He, however, stopped showing suddenly and was never seen again, corrupt or not.

What is their favourite mount?
Kashim, her frostsaber travelled to Eastern Kingdoms with her. Terintha was called to her duties for a time, and he was left to roam the forest in the south of the human kingdoms. He was injured by human hunters, to Terintha’s shock and anger. She returned him to Feralas where he now roams. Terintha uses her forms usually, or hired travel.

Weapon of choice?
Nature, obvs.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
Astrophel, a human mage and Razuun, a vindicator. Companions forged through life-threatening foes. She has found her caught by surprise how much she cares for them both, despite the relatively short time. It is something akin to family; laughing at Astrophel’s jokes or reactions to surprises, simply enjoying tranquillity with Razuun, a fellow ancient soul.

Where was your character born?
He can’t clearly remember. He was born during war of the ancients and later raised in orphanage.

How old is your character?
More than ten thousand years.

What was their childhood like?
Quite sad without parents or family. Many children in orphanage had at least siblings or friends. But Shalim was never that kind of person, who makes relationships quickly.
At certain age most of the boys were taken to teaching of druidism. However there were some exceptions. Shalim was one of them. He was simply not fit to become the druid. He was too clumsy whenever he was outdoors. One day he stepped on the snail and other day he disturbed bears during their breeding, after that they almost killed him. He always wanted to become a priest. He was told that his mother was priestess, he wanted to be like her. However he was refused, because priestess were not used to train men.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
Shalim ended like a regular warrior. He could quite decently command his one handed swords. But he never accepted his destiny. He wanted his life to mean something. He wanted to devote his life in to something meaningful. Elune, Nature…
He was impresed and inspired by Illidan after he was freed from prison. He was not happy with the passive approach of night elf society to foreign threats that could destroy his world. He wanted to fight those, who killed his parents.

Have they ever been in relationship?
As I mentioned above. Shalim was not that kind of personality and under Lord Illidan’s teaching he was forbidden to form relationships.

What do they like to do to relax?
Using his spectral sight to spy on people during awkward moments. Sometimes he later asks them about what they just done.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
He is weak-minded. That is his true weakness. Once tormented by demons he almost succumbed to their will. Haven’t been for fellow demon huntress to save him from his chains. His endurance is too weak. He can’t handle physical or mental pain as demon hunters should. His inner demon knows this and often uses this weakness against him. He is too vulnerable to become what he fights against.

What is his favourite mount?
Felsaber. Reliable and fast.

Weapon of choice?
Warglaives. Always.

What his his best friend and how did they meet them?
Ramez. They were in the same group of initiates and the only two survivors. They spent their whole training and rituals as true brothers. Shalim considers him as his brothers since he never had any.

Her mother is a beautiful and wise lady who wants the best for her two children, she is a musician and works as a teacher.
But as the years go by…Things start to get bad for the alliance and horde again, her family had to deal with her father having to join the military, they had hoped that he would do well and that he would hear more from him but things became very quiet over the length.

Where was your character born? Suramar City!

How old is your character? 23, a fresh faced young nightborne!

What was their childhood like? He was the son of a noble family, he was spoiled rotten. Given everything he wanted when he wanted. He was kicked out of his family after an argument with his mother gone bad not long before they joined the Horde. He’s been a nomad since.

What made them choose to be the class they are? Desperation. He’s a salesman magician who realized the only way to survive after being kicked from the family is a very darwinist attitude. Survival of the fittest, only in a more civilized sense.

Have they ever been in a relationship? Not yet. Looks at Ilivara

What do they like to do to relax? Doesn’t really get much relaxation, due to both time and money restraints. So he’s always on the move and trying to stay one step ahead of the grave.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about? He doesn’t want any of this. He just wants to be with his family again. But since they cut ties with him? It’s his only choice. He loves selling and it makes him happy when he does, but it breaks his heart to be force to resort to scams and parlor tricks to survive. No matter. Gotta do what you gotta do.

What is their favourite mount? N/A

Weapon of choice? His walking cane. He’s not a fighter in the slightest, but when cornered and no other options are available, he’ll turn that walking stick into a whacking stick.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them? Tajioh. A vulpera trinket vendor from Vol’dun who basically saved his life and taught him how to be a WAY better salesman. After leaving the dunes and finally making his way to better places, he hasn’t seen him since. Until very soon™.

Where were you born?
On “alternate” Draenor which is the real one for me, village on the outskirts of Shattrath City.

How old are you?
About eighty, maybe ninety years old. A “child” or a “teenager”, according to your language.

What was your childhood like?
I grew up in dangerous times when Orcs started to leave their tribal holds and encroach on the very heart of our land. Childhood didn’t have a happy ending for me if you’re so curious.

What made you choose to be the class they are?
My parents wanted me to pursue a career of a priestess, so I could pull myself out of our misery. I started as a simple neophyte, soon to become a preacher of the Light.

Then, one day, word came my village was raided by Orc marauders. Disregarding my duties, I left the city with the rescue party only to find those closest to me - dead. I stared a long time in the dead eyes of my parents and sister. That’s when I decided to take up the Hammer of Justice.

Have you ever been in a relationship?
Once. A young Draenei shaman befriended me when I was an acolyte in the temple. We spent a lot of time when I was going out to the city and we were happy to talk, laugh, look in each other’s faces. My mentor saw us once and forbid me to contact the young shaman in order for me to focus on my bond with Naaru.

Yet when I came back from the village… that day I told you… I couldn’t resist the pain. I showed up at the boy’s doorstep. I wanted someone to comfort me for a moment, to feel what it’s like when I forgot how it feels.

Next day I left him, sleeping as calm as ever, without farewell. That’s all. Go on with your questions now.

What do you like to do to relax?
I used to fish back on Draenor. After I chose to come to Azeroth with its heroes, I found myself more stable life and learned more about cooking. It may seem strange but warming myself at a nice fireplace and cooking for people I met on my journey became my current hobby. It helps me to keep sad thoughts away.

What is one secret about you that very few people or no one knows about?
Well, it isn’t a secret if I told you, or is it?

What is your favourite mount?
Azerothian Paladin’s armored horse. Steady, swifter than elekk, reliable enough to charge into the fray on its back.

Weapon of choice?
A sword. Service to the Light is more often associated with a hammer, but a sword can be much more precise. Perfect to carve out the Fel- and Voidspawn out of this world.

Who is your best friend and how did they meet them?
Well, I don’t have any of those “best friends” yet, but I met a few folks on my way to Stormwind. There was the Night Elf huntress, beautiful even according to Draenei standards (yeah, I can be jealous sometimes!) and the human magister. We spent some time in Elwynn together, laughed a bit. They seemed likable and I hope to meet them again.

Big thanks to the OP for working to keep this forum alive! Interesting, well-written answers so far. Glad to see you answered too, @Teknetia - I was going to ask. I’m going to try to answer this in-character like Grazheena did.

Where was your character born?
I was born on mainland Stranglethorn Vale. We were always on the move, my fam and a few other Darkspear families. We’d stay in a campsite for a month, maybe two, huntin and growin tubers and roots. We never did stay in any one campsite for too long, but we shifted between the same places.

I don’t remember exactly where on the mainland I was born. I’ve never been back to that place. I got no interest.

How old is your character?
I was born in the same year the Dark Portal opened. We didn’t know about it at the time, though. We met ogres who started a village at Mosh’ogg, but we didn’t know who or what they were - just more competition for food and water.

We be in…which year now, maybe 33 on the ADP? Not the King’s Calendar, that stuff be more opaque than a stoned hex priest.

What was their childhood like?
By troll standards? Normal. Troll standards are garbage, though. If I was a human or elf or something, I’d probably be traumatized and junk, but my people are dumb as hell and don’t know what normal means.

My family used to shift campsites cause we were runnin. My parents never told me that, bless their hearts, but I found out later. A couple of my family members were murdered by Bloodscalps, but the Skullsplitter were the worst - they chased us straight into the ocean. There were already Darkspear on an island out there, and once we emigrated to them, things got better.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
I was kind of a bully growin up; not something I’m too proud of. I had a…a lot of self-doubt and resentment over not ever gettin revenge on the Bloodscalps, and I was weak. I thought that pickin on other kids made me strong, but that’s not true - a bully is weak cause he knows the people won’t like him even if he be nice.

One day, Sen’jin got tired of my crap, and he gave me a trial: a rock, a stick, and a murloc den. My mama nearly had a heart attack, but I came out alive. All the kids I used to be mean too…they loved me after that. I felt like such a piece of trash cause all these kids I was horrible to were happy to see me take out those awful fish people.

The other kids were so quick to forgive…I swore I’d never hurt anybody who didn’t deserve it again. Been tryin to fight the good fight ever since.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
Rush opens up his hand, letting the much better dressed Darkspear woman next to him lay hers in it daintily.

Fon’kei and me known each other since…well, since the Skullsplitter took her whole fam on Stranglethorn. My auntie raised her, and we grew up together, but not as fam. Like…friends who camp together every day. We don’t really remember when we became a thing; it just happened. I guess that makes it thirty years since we known each other, maybe twenty-five since we been together?

What do they like to do to relax?
At home? Sleep in, go to bed early, and not have a schedule. We got a small village called Bal’watha down in Dustwallow - mostly Darkspear, plus some Shatterspear and Rageroar we took in as refugees. In times when I can get off duty, there’s not much else I’d wanna do then just be with Fon and eat my mama’s cookin again.

That’s not often, though; I get to go home maybe once a year. The rest of the time, I’ll be in the great hall of whatever base I’m at. I’m down for anythin my brothers and sisters in arms be doin as long as it be in moderation. That, and trainin - I actually enjoy sparrin and doin drills.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
The thing about secrets is that the need to be kept.

Seriously, though, I don’t really keep any; what you see is what you get. The biggest drama in my life is either buried on Stranglethorn Vale or was resolved durin the Darkspear Rebellion. All that be over now - carryin it in my heart won’t do any good.

What is their favourite mount?
I’m not too good at ridin, and to be honest, I’m not too fond of reptiles in general - let the Zandalari keep them, along with their backward old traditions. No raptors for me.

His girlfriend frowns at him and sighs.

What? I’m just answerin…alright, alright. Anyway, I’ve ridden boars into battle when a CO assigned me to cavalry, but I’m not too great at that. For travel, I got my bat, Sen’gir. He’s not any good for fightin, but he be fast, and he got enough stamina to carry me around when we both in armor. He gets jealous, so as long as he be around, I can’t - and don’t need - any other mounts.

Weapon of choice?
A soldier gotta be ready for anythin - we all got favorite weapons, but you never know. In the heat of battle, I’ve found myself appropriatin enemy weapons more than once…that can be fun. I once killed a felguard by stabbin it with its own helmet spike.

But my own weapons? I keep a heavy cuttin spear for fightin in formation, or throwin if I gotta catch somebody. If I can get up close and personal, though - especially in a group of people who deserve to die - then I hold a strong blade in each hand. I’ve lived this long, so the combo seems to work.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

She’s holdin my hand right now. Other than my lady, I don’t play favorites. Anybody who try to do the right thing, even if they mess up sometimes, should know that I got their back. I had enough brothers and sisters die in my arms in the craft of war to know that the end could come in any time, at any place. You never know who you gonna take an arrow for, or who’ll take one for you.

Where was your character born?

In a hamlet in Hillsbrad Foothills. It no longer exists, long since destroyed by war and young people moving away. I doubt there are even any more peasants elsewhere who may know that their ancestors lived there.

How old is your character?

He was 43 years old at his time of death during the First War. Assuming that we’re in the Year 33 ADP, then he’d have a total of 76 years of existence on Azeroth.

What was their childhood like?

Typical for human farmers in Lordaeron: difficult winters, lots of stoicism, a simple life based around a chapel to the Light. There was nothing remarkable in how he was raised.

What made them choose to be the class they are?

He was healthy and a talented horseman, so he joined the Knights of the Silver Hand as a way of becoming something more than a wheat farmer. His initial decision wasn’t complicated.

Have they ever been in a relationship?

Yes, he married a wife whom he barely knew in an arranged marriage. They were happy together, but she died of tuberculosis in between the First War (when he died) and the Second War (when he was raised as a first-generation death knight). I’m not sure if that makes her the widow or him.

What do they like to do to relax?

Chess. Garamonde could very well qualify as Azeroth’s version of an international chess-master competitor, to the point where he’d even let a despised foe go free if they challenged him to chess mid-battle and then won. He’s also fond of gothic decor and loves interior design.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?

He spies on his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Two of his own children escaped the Scourge invasion and lived full lives in Menethil Harbor, dying of natural causes. He now pays various thieves’ guilds for information on his descendants to make sure they’re okay. This is significant for him because he’s otherwise a coldhearted villain who detests the Alliance he once fought for almost as much as he detests the Horde.

What is their favourite mount?

His Acherus Deathcharger. Once a horseman, always a horseman. If he needs to travel somewhere high up or far away, he’s more likely to send a minion or attempt to open a deathgate to the place; he’s not comfortable on a mount which isn’t his own.

Weapon of choice?

A well-balanced 2H war hammer. I drew it once, based on a stylized bec de corbin from the renaissance era. Even in death, he views himself as a knight, and a warhammer is one of the quintessential knightly weapons.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

Only a handful of minions, mostly non-combat ones, whom he trusts. They mostly exist in fanfiction and RP now, but I imagine that he confides in few people anymore; friends are a frivolity which he doesn’t believe he can afford.

Where was your character born?

She was born in transit between worlds as the Genedar traversed the universe, of a generation that never knew Argus but was raised on stories of its lost glory.

How old is your character?

Specific numbers are difficult but she isn’t an ancient. Still brimming with the passion and drive of a youthful mind but often the insightful senior to much, much younger collegues, she is a creature of contradictions. To a being of such a ludicrous lifespan, age is a state of mind.

What was their childhood like?

The years of relative youth spent on Draenor were ones of optimism and high ideals. Ancient Augari traditions in the family led her to a scholar’s life and she happily devoured the libraries of Shattrath and studied the nature of the universe at Teluuna Observatory in Shadowmoon Valley. Happy to learn about the savage natives on her adopted homeworld, she tried to learn more about them as well but failed to predict that they would turn on the draenei and uproot all that they had gained since their arrival.

What made them choose to be the class they are?

Not being distracted by the pining for Argus often afflicting the older generations, she turned her attention to the universe around her at an early age. Wanting to understand the nature of just about anything she came into contact with, the keen draenei girl was soon led to perpetuate the nigh miraculous arcane arts of the lost Homeworld so as to preserve some of the good that once had been.

Conditions were studied, methodologies adapted and soon she was one of a number of draenei dedicated to preserving and improving their special brand of sorcerous science.

Have they ever been in a relationship?

Who has the time these days with a yearly crisis of world shattering proportions? How does one define a relationship as such? Almost by definition and necessity, she is happily married… to her job.

In fact, a proper relationship would fluster her terribly as a welcome but often inconvenient distraction that she’d struggle to keep going in her awkward ways.

What do they like to do to relax?

She reads a great deal like any mage should, being especially fond of history, believing that it helps one understand patterns of behaviour. This builds into the social sciences and she is very fond of the discipline as a result. Fundamentally a student of the arcane arts, she still studies as many things as se can realistically pursue, adverse to the idle mind.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?

Like a fair few other draenei, she understandably suffers from a degree of survivor’s guilt and keeping her mind busy distracts from the troubles. Asking questions and chasing answers keeps her from the most poisonous question of all; “What if?”

In a more benign sense, she has a number of eccentric ideas about “natives” and part of her study into what makes them tick is to watch for signs of “another Draenor” on the horizon. The violent nature of most Azerothians leaves her wary of some allies.

What is their favourite mount?

Enjoying brief flights, she conjures a number of constructs for the purpose, particularly fond of flying discs and a purple bird taught to her by mage collegues in Dalaran. If travelling by roads, she prefers talbuks and elekks due to familiarity with the beasts but would enjoy the peculiar convenience of azerothian vehicles more if she understood them well enough to make repairs.

What is their weapon of choice?

Evocation, though she considers it a last resort and using the high art of the arcane as a mere weapon when its potential is limitless seems so crude and degrading. Even so, agitating the air to produce a fireball or atomizing a quarrelsome native is sometimes a necessity. Just self defence, of course!

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?

Too bookish for many peers and too submerged in study to make many friends, she has mostly made strong connections with much older teachers and guardians. In a way, she’s been more on their level all along and gets along best with studious collegues in a friendly business relationship. Part of her surely keeps them at a distance to avoid further heartbreak after what became of Shattrath.

In of the orcish camps after his parents escaped from an internment camp. Sadly his mother died a short while after his birth and his father killed by one of the human soldiers.

What was their childhood like?
Somewhat standard like any orcish kid. The only being issue that he was orphan, but he was adopted by the chief’s village advisers at the time.

Ever since he was a child, he wanted to be a fighter with an axe at hand. Looking up at the Horde’s grunts. But after being taught by the old chief’s wisdom. He dedicated his early adulthood trying to become a shaman. With only having to experience little experience with very basic fel magic. But with a sudden twist around his village, he pleaded the elements to help him. But refusing him, as he had to take quick actions that forced him to take fel magic. With his path of doing something not many wishes to do, to save many.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
He once had to force information out from a teen human girl. Who’s father was a member of the cult of the damn. In order to stop him and his group causing more horror in the area. Even though he succeeded, always hates putting children in harm.

What is their favourite mount?
Garn Nighthowl.

What is their weapon of choice?
Malevolence staff and Book of Origination.

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
A human paladin. Who he has met during the war with Lich King. He didn’t have any hostile exchanges from Alliance at the time. They were together in one of the big group missions, which they were ambushed by the undead. They were out of some who survived and started to have good connection bond.

I’ve decided to fill this in again, because there’s been a couple of changes and minor retcons. The first time I posted, Lyth was a fairly new character and I hadn’t RPed him much - so I feel more confident changing the answers now that I’ve grown accustomed to him.
So here goes:

Unspecified, but in Silvermoon City. He spent most of his life having a house in the Western part of the city, before that was wrecked by the Scourge and now he’s living mostly nomadic but visits Uldum and Quel’thalas often.

He’s nine hundred and seventy-seven (977).

As stated perviously, his father died when he was young and his mother, while present, was a harsh and unforgiving parent who he only warmed up to in his adult life. His childhood, however influenced his own parenting for the better and he still managed to come out as a man of good humor but one who also knows when to keep serious.

He’s lost two sons in the Scourge’s invasion and his wife fell in battle on Outland while they were a part of Kael’thas’ forces. He felt comfortable cutting himself off from any possibilities of leading a normal life after that, and although he’s dealing with his grief well, vengeance and hatred is usually not beneath him.

He’s been married with children for several hundred years.
But becoming a widower didn’t make him swear to never have anyone again.
You might call it healthily moving on, or dishonouring his wife’s memory by finding another person - either way, he looks at it as something his late spouse would have wanted, and if she was the one outlasting him, would have wished the same for her.

He has an old prayer book his wife has gotten for him back on Outland. When he’s bored or has a lot on his mind, he usually reads that. But he also likes sitting on high places and looking out over a large body of water.

Okay, this is a hard one. He turned out far more sane and reasonable than he was in the original draft, so the last post’s answer doesn’t count here.
I’ll go for one even he doesn’t know about. He has a son and a daughter still left alive. They’ve been presumed dead after the Scourge’s invasion, but he’s not really been adament at looking after having gotten free from the Warden’s Prison. So they’re still out there, he just has no idea.
Note: I’m just looking for people to RP them, but it’s hard.

He used to be a sailor before he retired to have a family, and still very much has a soft spot for travelling by sea, although he’s not been behind a helm for quite some time (even though it used to be one of his pet passions).

But if only land mounts count, hawkstrider still stands.

His shortsword is fairly insignificant, just a fel infused thalassian blade, but he recently found an axe (through RP) in Uldum that serves as his main weapon. It has an enchantment on it that keeps it permanently sharp and would resist being damaged by most sources, although he tinkered with it quite a bit, customizing it to suit his own needs more.
Also, it can act as a spellfocus. So, a pretty useful weapon overall, although he tends not to get sentimentally attached to any of his weapons.

Uhh… tough one. He knows plenty of people he’s on good terms with, but best friend? He doesn’t really have any. If I really had to point one out, that’s a friend, it would be his brother in law.
It isn’t really his brother in law, because the woman he’s married to isn’t Lyth’s actual sister, but more like surrogate sister.
Either way, no real “best” friends yet. I’m sure there’ll be one once I RP him even more, but not yet, really.

That’s tragic and interesting. Putting two and two together, Lyth and his wife had four kids total, then?

Here’s an idea: if you can’t find suitable players, have you considered writing them into a story instead? It would be different from playing them in-game, but you could at least get the idea out there.

THROUGH THE HOLY POWERS OF THE LIGHT, THE GREATEST GIFT ON AZEROTH, I VOW THAT YOU SHALL LIVE FOR A MINIMUM OF AT LEAST 30 ADDITIONAL DAYS! LIGHT THANK YOU FOR THIS ALTRUISTIC BLESSING!

Where was your character born?
Homm Goodwill was born to a simple and bohemian family in the City of Stratholme, somewhere around the Second War (presumably).

How old is your character?
Homm is 56 years old, but tell him that he looks not a day older than 30 and you’ll walk away from that interaction with a Power Word cast on you!

What was their childhood like?
Living in a simple yet thankful family, Homm learned to be thankful and appreciative of most things in life. There are very few things that he’d be able to say that he “hates”, and even then, he wouldn’t be able to list those things unless reminded. A generally plain yet good childhood.

What made them choose to be the class they are?
Homm went his way to become a priest as he wished to spread the gratitude he feels for life to others, to give people something to appreciate and praise. A perfect start for this would be the Holy light, something he had found great joy in.

Have they ever been in a relationship?
Homm was in a relationship with a woman named Marei Fullbillow during his earlier ages, a prideful sorcerer with great willpower. Though, she sadly enough fell to the hands of the Scourge. If Marei ended up being part of the Forsaken or not is unbeknownst to him. Homm decides to not think about this often, and when he does, do so with optimism.

What do they like to do to relax?
When not spending his time preaching and praising, Homm, like many others, acts as an everyday man. He talks to friends, he walks around Stormwind and buys what he needs, eats where he currently feels that it is fit and perhaps spend some alone time thinking about personal matters.

What is one secret about the character that very few people or no one knows about?
Homm can often question and theorize about the light, wondering different things about it, from having faith in the light if he uses it for good, and mainly if it is good, something he often questions concerning Undead.

What is their favourite mount?
The mount of choice would be his old, dark black horse, Doxology. Doxology was born in the Hillsbrad Foothills, accompanied by many faults. She doesn’t ride fast because of sensitive hooves, she’s aggressive, among other things. Yet, she rides as well as she can, and Homm is very faithful towards her. He believes that she’s a sign of proper faith in something and that that faith is up for the individual to decide.

Weapon of Choice?
The wisdom of a good tome. If it comes to being rough, just hit people over the head with it!

Who is their best friend and how did they meet them?
Throughout his days, Homm has gathered many friends, far and wide. He would never consider to value them above each other, although he does have an unaware bias towards certain acquaintances.
