You can carry people in raid

You can carry people in any type of content. Why do people keep bringing this up? You can carry people in Mythic raids, you can carry people in +25 keys, you can carry people to gladiator. It’s not a point.

Had several keys around +16 where someone had a dc and we still timed it. In fact, my only +22 key, cuss I was asked to help out some friends, I only noticed after the second boss that I had all the wrong gear, corruptions, essences and had been playing my crit mage build like a lucid mage. Still timed it.

No healing challenge anywhere outside of Maut. Utility buttons do not work, or a not doing anything. Do a gimmick dance and you finish heroic. Even Nzoth has no healing requirement, only a weird dance.

Yes and M+ has such a great healing challenge that the best healers are chosen on how much dmg they can do.

I keep seeing you guys compare pugging M+ to organized hc raid groups which makes an incredibly biased picture. HC raiding is incredibly easy in an organized group, in a pug it’s a hell hole where even now people don’t know to not stand in the lane the dragon is flying over. On the other hand M+ is ridiculously easy in an organized group and still very doable in a pug.

No, i am not really doing that. I am mostly pushing keys with a set group. That group has also an alt group. Same people different chars and on voice. Because of the lack of our main classes utility coordination/experience we never managed to time a +15, while we were progressing on the 19-20’s on our mains. On the other hand, we just did heroic raid on alts too… no need of utility coordination. Ilvl char strength pushes through the raid.

What kind of utility do you need to get through a +15? Unless you are severely undergeared you can make it through with 3 ranged kicks and people dodging a little bit. There is also very little need for coordination honestly. Most of M+ is Tank sets the path, dds follow the tank and do dmg, healer follows the tank and does dmg… oh I mean heal, sometimes.

You underestimate the strengths of coordination of typhoon, vortex, binding shot, blinding light, hammer of justices, bops, etc. On top of using cooldowns for the right moment. I know it has becomes mindless when you do that every dungeon at the same things. but when 5 players switch to 5 different chars everything is falling apart. Even on 470 ilvl. The main focus of M+ is avoiding damage, that is what you do with your group utility. Heroic raid is way easier to pick up.

This change is meant to slow down the m race, but it will not be effective. They will still split push, they will still find a way to show up fully HC geared for mythic night.

Other players will eat the bat for that.

To someone who doesn’t enjoy raiding, this has ruined the exp for me. I am in a small guild of friends that enjoy running mythic+ to gear up, we also enjoy helping random people in the mythic plus system that might be struggling. Really not sure how much I will play this exp now, regret the preorder.

Honestly you’ll still be able to do the content that you enjoy, the gear will be suitable for that content you don’t need the higher ilvl gear for the m+ content hence why it’s capped.

You shouldnt be rewarded top tier gear for doing the easier content.

Its same for heroic guilds and pugs. Its much harder to create heroic raid, deal with all the social problems connected to it then create 5 man group and run 1 30 minute dungeon.

Absolutely it takes more effort and coordination to run a raid rather than a 5 man dungeon.

No they’re complaining Mythic raid loot is higher than mythic plus dungeon loot, but imho I think it’s fine Mythic raiding should reward the highest tier gear im going to go for it myself in Shadowlands.

That’s still fine, takes a lot more to do a raid than farmable dungeons.

Raids should always drop higher loot than any 5 man dungeons should.

LFR Loot is poor loot and quite literally some of the lowest ilvl gear, your precious m+ gear will clearly outclass LFR gear so don’t worry your pretty little head.

Not true, its a case of learning the affixes and adjusting accordingly with 5 players which is relatively simple to do.
