This issue, first reported 440 days ago, unfortunately remains unaddressed, with no subsequent status updates.
As a player who has invested significant time and effort in achieving an exalted reputation with Obsidian Wardens, I am concerned about the extended delay in resolving the above issue without meaningful communication. I sincerely believe that consistent transparency regarding the status of long-standing, confirmed issues is essential for maintaining user confidence and valuing the user base.
I clearly understand the resource constraints inherent to a tiny indie studio. The WoW community could explore a constructive proposal for resourcing a solution to assist the development team. This could take the form of a community-driven fundraising initiative to temporarily contract a junior technical resource to focus specifically on resolving this and similar technical debt, so that the solution would take months and not years, or even engaging a quality assurance specialist to improve future cases.
I know this issue has been brought up before, but I just wanted to say – it’s been quite a while now, and still no fix, no acknowledgment, nothing.
All of my Shadowlands reputations that were previously Exalted have reset to 0. I still have the mounts and rewards that require Exalted, so clearly I had the rep… but in the character panel, it’s just gone. Zero. Like it never happened.
I reported it, opened a ticket, even referenced older posts from others having the same issue – but nothing. No blue post, no recognition. Just silence.
I get that all attention is on current content, but does older content really have to be completely ignored? This feels like a bug that should at least be addressed, even if it’s not a top priority.
