Until Classic launched, you didn’t require a subscription to post on the Classic Discussion forum.

Also on retail forums without a subscription as well.
Classic playerbase is probably the worst I’ve ever encountered. Not even PvP Forums (in its prime) were this degenerated.

The Retail forum requires a sub to post. It can be a sub anywhere on your bnet, on another wow account but a sub has to be paid somewhere.
The discourse forums sometimes take a while to catch up, so some people can still post for a while after they’ve unsubbed but it catches up with everyone eventually. You can see sometimes people’s characters aren’t displayed at the right level, this is the same thing. It takes a while to catch up.
That’s because they did not make separate subscriptions for Classic and retail.
Agree 100%! This should go both ways though. A classic player should only be able to post on retail forums with a lvl 120 toon…and at least pathfinder unlocked. Cant let neckbeards from pservers think they can sub for a month and be part of the comunity.

On a side note… nice community you have there wanting to ban people from forums unless they have a high enough lvl toon…

I’m still missing words like kid, elitist and salty in your post but other than it’s a good example of the average retail post.
If you were actually playing Classic you’d know that it can take hours before the game let’s you log in.
