Retail players on the Classic forum

If you have nothing to say, then please don’t do it.

Must be the reason you are only lvl 10.

Only lvl 10…must have had lots of dumb stuff to say on the forums.

Nice heirlooms.

Thinking someone is the same level in the game as he is on the forums, yet calling other people dumb. You just made my day.

Why thank you…bet you wish you had them, just to catch up. Patrolling STV as a lvl 10 must be torture.

Yeah, it sucks. I wish there was a game where everything was given to me without me having to work for it…

Then you do agree on how dumb this post is?

As it’s already been said, elitism and arrogance the only things you can expect from classic players.

It seems that your queue is a week or two long based on your level

But hey, your opinion is also very important, don’t worry!

If hours feel like weeks to you, then you must be really spoiled.

Although you are used to getting everything presented to you on a golden plate, you’ll have to scroll up this time.

How about making it so that you can only post to these forums using characters that were created prior to Jan 16 2007? That would ensure that only those that truly experience Vanilla could post… /sarcasm

Personally I think that anyone who has an active subscription should be able to post on the official forums without restirctions. I would also like the classic and retail trolls to all scuttle back under their respective rocks and to stop trying to split the community down arbitrary lines.

Well, I am spoiled by Chrome remote desktop, you are right

and yes, I am aware that your forum level does not reflect current level you have in-game  11 right?

I can understand the mindset. On retail I would have gained at least one level since my last post. That’s without heirlooms…

It’s not like the first ten levels are that slow on Classic. Lets keep some perspective.

Nothing is slow on Classic, it is exactly the way it was meant to be.

A tourist here is a retail player popping by to check out Classic, deciding they don’t like it, then sticking around for a little bit to ramble on about how bad it is, before they return to their generic pseudo-action mmo.

It’s not xenophobic or unnecessarily aggresive. It’s just what said person is.

I’m not treating them like cattle, I’m asking them (like everybody else) to prove they want to be part of the community (aka play the bloody game, you know) in order to be able to post here, so we can stop getting all the pointless hate from retail players.

It’s a slow journey, that’s not to say it’s a bad thing.

Does it matter if someone posting from a lvl 120 or a lvl 30 character?

Hmm a lot of interesting posts in this thread, I had never considered the trust level thing, probably because I am fairly new to discord, I am just glad that I finally leveled up one of my classic chars to actually appear on the classic forums, however for now, I think I will switch back to my Retail Main Galrath, the reason I was posting under that name is because Galrath is my character from TBC that has never had any level boosts applied to it, so, to my mind a genuine character from TBC, I have a number of other chars over on retail but some have had boosts applied to them when new expansions were released and one other char is a Worgen and I can’t remember when that race was introduced into WoW, I did notice that that particular race levelled very quickly, probably due to the general speed up of levelling in later expansions.

It also makes sense so other ppl can track my journey through the WoW forums if they so choose, so from now on I will post under my Char Galrath Blood elf Paladin
