I would guess they won’t do it as you could have done something like sent them gold then copied them back. There could also be technical issues as the systems like specs have changed in wrath and that would need to be removed making it difficult. I’m sure there are many other character differences.
You don’t have to done anything to have been mailed TBC or Wrath stuff.
I’m sure even if you didn’t log into them there would be changes.
You misunderstand. This was unobtainable wish to have ORIGINAL Vanilla toons from 2006 back. Not really lost. Only totally unplayable, and not touched since Chrsitmas Battle for Azeroth 
I see what you mean now, I had three characters back in 2006, a level 60 NE Warrior, this Dottie, then called Emeritia and a Horde Shaman at about 30-35. I got the name Dottie by asking for it, remember those days?
I haven’t really played the last two expansions either, I did play some BfA.
I haven’t touched my lvl 60 lock on the WOTLK servers so I’m sure it’s cloneable.
No it isn’t as the data is updated from the Era version and it couldn’t be moved back across.
The amount of differences is huge, and not just the items in the packs.
Keep on dreaming. Make a ticket and you’ll see - moaning on the forums won’t do it

For someone like me that just stopped playing WoW Classic after we cleared BWL and just came back a few days ago and found out that my char was on WOTLK i would really like to see a clone back to ERA-servers.

Probably the amount of paid clones will not be enough to make the service return. Certainly not for 10-20 clones.
I thougth TBC Classic and Wrath Classic would be fun - I loved achievements and Holiday events TBC and Wrath back when - but Blizz ruined, is not fun this time, all remade, all buggy. Ergo would like to play ALL characters in Era, not only majority.
Is only because of Blizz’s stupidity I want my main back to Era.
